The Executive Director of Global Info Analytics, Musa Danquah has cautioned the New Patriotic Party to avoid imposing current Members of Parliament on constituents ahead of the 2024 general elections.
According to Musa Danquah, the outcome of the New Patriotic Party Presidential primaries on Saturday, November 4 2023 revealed that a number of the sitting Members of Parliament of the ruling party are unpopular in their constituencies.
He indicated that if the New Patriotic Party in any instance imposed the sitting members of Parliament on their constituent, the party would suffer grave loss in the 2024 general elections.
“There are some MPs who may be very unpopular now in their constituency and if they end up electing them, it is going to add to the challenge they would be facing in 2024. Some of the MPs’ in fact should be allowed to fall on their sword for the good of NPP; some of them if you impose or force them on the people, it’s going to give you a backlash in the number of constituencies”.

Mr. Danquah further stated that he is not surprised about the performance of the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kenendy Ohene Agyapong in the New Patriotic Party presidential primaries on Saturday, November 4 2023.
According to him, the maverick politician’s performance in the National Delegates Conference of the ruling New Patriotic Party confirmed the survey conducted by Global Info Analytics ahead of the Saturday, November 4 polls.
Mr Danquah expressed shock about the outcome of the New Patriotic Party presidential primaries polls from the Oti Region. He noted that his outfit is yet to understand the factors that influenced the outcome of the presidential election of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Oti Region.
“If we said he was going to get 20% and he got the number he got then, we would be surprised but from where we sat everything was in line so we weren’t surprised at all”.
