Her absence from the upcoming general elections marks the end of an era for constituents who have been under her representation.
Again, in Dome Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region, a constituency accustomed to the leadership of Sarah Adwoa Safo, the former Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection will see a change as the incumbent MP loses her re-election bid to Michael Oquaye Jr.
Also, Atwima Mponua will be seeking new leadership as the experienced Isaac Kwame Asiamah failed to secure the New Patriotic Party ticket in today’s parliamentary primaries while the New Patriotic Party in the Weija Gbawe constituency in the Greater Accra Region will equally witness a change in representation as Tina Mensah, the incumbent Member of Parliament could not secure the party’s nomination.
Furthermore, Ablekuma North will undergo a political transition as Shiela Bartels, the incumbent Member of Parliament lost a bid for another term in the governing New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary primaries. The party awaits the new leadership of Nana Akua Afriyie to lead them in the December 7 general elections.
Moreover, the Subin constituency will experience a change in leadership as Eugene Boakye Antwi, a long-serving Member of Parliament lost his bid for the New Patriotic Party candidacy.
The New Patriotic Party in Anyaa Sowutuom in the greater Accra will be represented by a new face in the upcoming general elections, as Dr Adomako Kissi, the incumbent Member of Parliament failed to secure the party’s victory in the just-ended primaries.
The New Patriotic Party in Trobu will be seeking a fresh voice to represent them in Parliament, as Moses Anim, the incumbent Member of Parliament fell short in its parliamentary primaries. He lost to Madam Gloria Owusu
Again, in Offinso North in the Ashanti Region, the New Patriotic Party will see a change in its political representation, as Collins Augustine Ntim, the incumbent Member of Parliament lost his bid for the NPP candidacy while the New Patriotic Party in Amasaman will have to adapt to new leadership, as Kwasi Owusu Afriyie-Mensah, the incumbent Member of Parliament, failed to secure his ticket.
More so, the political landscape in Lower Hemang Denkyira is set to transform as Bright Wireko-Brobby, the incumbent MP, lost his bid for the NPP ticket while the New Patriotic Party in Effia Constituency will be witnessing a change in leadership, as Joseph Cudjoe, the incumbent MP, failed to secure the NPP candidacy.
The Juaben constituency will also experience a shift in political representation as Ama Pomaa Boateng, the incumbent MP, could not secure the party’s nomination while the Zabzugu constituency faces a political transition as John Benam, the incumbent MP, falls short in the party’s primaries.
The New Patriotic Party in Tema Central Constituency will have to adapt to new leadership, as Hanson Nortey, the incumbent MP, failed to secure the party’s endorsement while Honorable Elvis Donkor lost his bid to lead the party in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese constituency in the Central Region.
In the Shama Constituency, the incumbent MP, Samuel Erickson Abakah also lost his attempt to seek another term to represent the New Patriotic Party in the December 7 general elections while the Bosome Freho constituency in the Ashanti region will undergo a political transition as Akwasi Darko Boateng, a long-serving MP, lost his bid for the NPP candidacy.
The New Patriotic Party in Suhum constituency in the Eastern Region will be represented by a new face in the upcoming general elections, as Kwadwo Asante, the incumbent MP, failed to secure the party’s nomination while Daboya will see a change in its political representation as Mahama Seini, the incumbent MP equally lost his bid for the NPP ticket.
Again, the New Patriotic Party in the Odotobri constituency in the Ashanti Region will be seeking a fresh perspective as Emmanuel Kwasi Gyamfi, the incumbent MP, failed to secure the NPP candidacy.
Gifty Twum Ampofo, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North also lost her attempt to represent the New Patriotic Party as its parliamentary candidate in the upcoming election while Honorable Emmanuel Adjei Anhwere equally lost his bid to lead the New Patriotic Party in the Atwima-Nwabiagya South constituency
