The President-elect of the United States of America, Joseph Biden, has told his Ghanaian counterpart, President Akufo-Addo, that he looks forward to working with him and his government to address problems that the US and Ghana share in common.
“We look forward to working with you and your government on addressing the common problems facing our countries and our peoples”
In a signed personal letter from the office of the US president-elect, the former Vice-President said he was thankful for the well wishes by the President and added that, it was a great honor to have been elected the next President of the United States.
President-Elect Biden and the Vice-President-elect, Kamala Harris, won the US presidential election held on 3 November 2020, defeating the incumbent, President Donald Trump. It is expected that they will be sworn into office on 20th January 2021.
