GPL Review: Hearts Of Oak Beat Faisal To Revive Title Defence Hopes

The 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League (GPL) entered Match Day 15 with matches played during the weekend across all match venues in the country.

Title holders, Accra Hearts of Oak, grabbed a vital 1-0 win against Kumasi-based King Faisal at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday.

Kojo Obeng Jnr. was the hero of the day as his 24th minute strike gave the Phobians all the 3 points in a game of few chances that saw both sides struggle to create openings. Obeng Jnr got on the end of a lovely ball from Mohammed Alhassan as the forward controlled before smashing home from distance the only goal of the match.
