Artiste Manager, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog, has asked the President to bow down his head in shame and resign, due to his inability to resolve the current economic crisis facing Ghanaians.
He added that, the President must resign with his Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, as they are both responsible for the ailing economy.
“Nana Akuffo Addo should bow down his head in shame and walk out of his office now as we speak.
“He came saying that he had the men and he put that guy there. So if the guy is messing up, they should be leaving together.”
Bulldog
Speaking in a media interview Today, October 31, he mentioned that, he does not know why chapter 8 Section 16 of the constitution of Ghana is not being explored as it talks about the removal of the President.
He further noted that even though individuals and institutions are calling for the removal of the Finance Minister, the President, who is the head, must be blamed as well for the national chanllenge.
“There is a loophole in the costitution that can help us remove him from office, we shouldn’t wait for 2024.”
Bulldog
Bulldog noted that, the plead by the President to give the finance Minister sometime to complete the IMF deal does not make sense.
He added that all the talks by the President are not need in this crucial moments as he does not get the reason why the President cannot replace his cousin.
“That is nonsensical, it doesn’t make any sense. Is he the only person who can negotiate this IMF deal? Are you saying that if he should die today, the deal won’t go on?
“Are we runing a one man finance institution or ministry? What are we talking about? Because of your profits you don’t want to leave.”
Bulldog
In his submission, he described the President as being an arrogant posture leader in the midst of economic crisis.
“The guy is very arrogant. He said that we speak as if he doesnt live in the country. He doesnt pay for fuel, water and light bills so he should not becm coming out to just talk any how”
Bulldog
His comments, comes after several calls for the dismissal of Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, following the bad state of the eeconomy as well as plea by the President to allow him finish the IMF deal.
Parliament Should Be Abolished
The Artiste Manager stated that, parliament should be abolished as parliamentarians have nothing to do or talk about.
He added that there is a constituency that does not have any representative in parliament now, yet its working perfectly and so therefore there is no need for the law making house to function.
“Parliament should be abolished, trust me. Go and check the duties of parliament and see if that is the same thing the house is doing.
“Parliament is a house of representatives right? But do you know that as we speak there is a constituency that does not have representation parliament? Are they not functioning?”
Bulldog
He notedthat this is a testimony that the paliamentarians, can not stick to their mandate as representatives. He said that, parliament, has a lot of roles to perform but has failed to do so.
