Ghanaian artist turned politician John Dumelo has expressed his pride in the actions of the NDC parliamentarians.
This follows after the 2nd arm of government wasplunged into total disarray and misbehavior from members of both sides of Parliament prior to the swearing-in of President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
What was to be a peaceful inauguration process was not realized as it was an exciting scene to behold when the inauguration process was marred with a whole lot of drama from both sides in parliament.
Some MP’s even resorted to throwing punches and snatching ballot papers in Parliament.
Taking to his Twitter page he wrote “I am proud of the NDC Parliamentarians”

Some of his followers who didn’t find his tweet pleasing came out to chide him for his words.

Meanwhile, the incident has since attracted the attention of Ghanaians on social media with some attacking the Tema West MP, Carlos Ahenkorah especially for displaying a high level of lawlessness.
Some Ghanaian celebrities who found the whole incident shameful have also reacted in diverse ways on social media.
Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie waded into the just-ended chaos that struck Parliament during their secret voting to elect the next Speaker.
Sarkodie who also added his voice to the section of Ghanaians criticizing the Member of Parliament took to Twitter to express disgust at the happenings.

In a subtle jab to the MPs, the rapper wrote: “We just throw around the Honorable Title,”
That aside, reacting to the development are two of Ghana’s A-list actresses, Jocelyn Dumas and Lydia Forson who also joined the section of Ghanaians to criticize the ‘gross misconduct’ of MPs during their inauguration process.
The affable actress, Joselyn Dumas, shared her opinion on Twitter, and most of her fans couldn’t help but agree with her as they equally chastised the Members of Parliament for conducting themselves in such a lawless manner.
“Grown educated individuals with children, fighting! In one of the highest law-making space in our country. Ghana is highly revered for our respect for the seat of government, democratic system & impeccable composure in Parliament. I am soo disappointed!” she wrote.

However, other tweeps argue that such scenes as well even happen in UK parliament. “My dear friend, it happens in the UK Parliament. We’re not strangers,” a twitter user, Adjetey Cleland tweeted.

Award-winning actress,Lydia Forson, also wrote on tweeter “Where are all the people who were arguing under my earlier tweet justifying the killing of “criminals” for snatching ballots? If you fail to condemn what’s wrong, you will be doing Harlem shake when your own come. Smh.”

She had some people supporting her statement, however, just like her colleague Joselyn, some tweeps who were not in agreement with her shared their opinions on what she wrote. Here are some comments.
