Ideally, men are supposed to lock lips with the opposite sex, however, it beats the imagination of critical thinking minds how Shatta Wale decided to kiss a fellow male. The Dancehall artiste has been spotted in a viral video kissing a male adult reported to be his friend.
The video making rounds on social media shows the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker’s hand wrapped around the neck of the guy identified as Shatta Kumordzi, while kissing him.
Shatta Wale was heard in the video saying: “I love you man… you kept your word”.
“God is good. I received it”, Kumordzi responded as Shatta placed a diamond neck chain around his neck. It was after that gesture Shatta Wale planted a kiss on Kumordzi’s mouth.
According to reports, Shatta Kumordzi has been an integral member of Shatta Wale’s entourage together with Nana Dope and others. Shatta Kumordzi was accused of masterminding the chaos at Nima where some individuals brazenly fired shots in broad daylight, some reports indicated.
Well, the musician has from the beginning of the year been trending due to controversial issues such as calling out actress, Jackie Appiah, for being “fake” and most recently having a public display of affection with his new girlfriend.

Social media users have reacted to the recent controversy stirred up by Shatta Wale. Some seem unperturbed while others suggested that the singer has joined the LGBTQ+ community.
Those in support of his actions cited instances where football players in international countries have been seen kissing each other as a sign of love and loyalty.
Opposers, on the other hand, argued that Shatta Wale should not be seen kissing his fellow gender since it goes against the customs and traditions of Ghanaians.
Meanwhile, some users just expressed shock over the incident. Shatta Wale has also been sighted online kissing his girlfriend. They recently began their public display of affection. Therefore, some social media users suspect that the musician might be bisexual.
One highlight of the public reactions is that of Ningo-Prampram’s MP, Sam George. Sam George, who is championing the passing of the Anti-LGBTQ Bill, in a reaction to the issue averred that Shatta Wale needed to explain the rationale behind his decision to kiss a male partner. According to him, he believed the SM President might have been under the influence of some substances.
Meanwhile, amid all the concerns being raised and brouhaha, Shatta Wale in a tweet shared that kissing makes his fans happy.
Shatta Wale Supports LGBTQI+ Community Shatta Kiss
In October last year, Shatta Wale declared his support for homosexuals and urged that they should be allowed to live freely despite the possible passage of the anti-gay bill into law.
The controversial singer posited that he cannot discriminate against homosexuals because most of his fan base are gays and lesbians. In an earlier interview, Shatta suggested that there should not be any attempts to sit on the freedoms and rights of LGBTQI+ activists. His comments came at a time when the issue of LGTBQ+ rights in Ghana heightened.
Parliament since last year, 2021, has been discussing the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values 2021 bill also known as the anti-LGBTQI+ bill, seeking to criminalize the actions of the LGBTQI+ community in Ghana.
