John Dumelo is not the only Ghanaian industry players who has shared his thoughts about the upcoming match as several others have predicted a win for Ghana ahead of the game.  Wendy Shay for instance predicted a 2-1 win against Nigeria.

Popular Ghanaian musician and songwriter, Kofi Kinaata reacted to Ghana’s 27-man team for the 2022 World Cup play-off against the Super Eagles of Nigeria. In a post by the artiste on his official Twitter account, he shared a poster that had a list of players to compete in the game while captioning the photo clinched hand and a ‘cool man’ emoji.

Kofi Kinata, has advised that creatives be pushed into parliament. The 'Susuka' hitmaker made this assertion during an interview
Ghanaian hiplife and highlife musical artist, Kofi Kinaata.

Afropop artiste Obibini Takyi Junior (OTJ) predicted a win for the Black stars ahead of the first leg of Ghana versus Nigeria World Cup Qualifiers. The singer believes the scoreline would be 2-1 against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

“I follow football, and I know what I’m talking about when I say that Ghana will win 2:1 against Nigeria”, OTJ said.

He, however, cautioned Ghanaians to be wary of staking bet ahead of the game. According to him, people risk losing a lot of money if they bet irresponsibly.

Nana Aba Anamoah also took the opportunity presented by the match to revive the debate on the Ghana Nigeria Jollof.

Well, from Jollof wars to football, Ghana and Nigeria have always dominated the news with juicy trolls and sometimes a very astonishing display of comedy.

Black Stars 27-man Team

The squad unsurprisingly has usual players such as Thomas Partey, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, Daniel Kofi Kyereh. The team has four goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders, four wingers, and four strikers. There are also some new faces with Dennis Odoi and Felix Afena-Gyan leading pack.

Meanwhile, Ghanaians on social media have complained about Jordan Ayew’s call-up to the Black Stars squad for the World Cup playoff. Many cannot comprehend why the striker has been included in the 27-man squad, despite reports of him testing positive for COVID-19 few days ago. Others also argued that the player is not in good form and therefore does not merit a call-up. However, new reports indicate that Jordan Ayew tested negative for COVID-19
