The former fetish priestess, although granted bail, still remains in police custody because she’s facing charges at a different circuit court on one count of charlatanic advertisement and five counts of defrauding by false pretense and has been remanded to appear before court on the 26th of October 2022.

She allegedly advertised on her TV channel to give out huge sums of amount to her congregants to start their businesses and to pay their debts as well.

The case was adjourned to the 10th of November 2022.

 Nana Agradaa’s Arrest

Madam Patricia Koranteng who was arrested by the police on the 9th of October 2022 for defrauding her church members was denied bail on two occasions after pleading not guilty to all her charges.

This was after prosecutors had admitted that there were thirty new witnesses whose statements they had taken. Her arrest came after members of her church in a viral video made mention of her inability and refusal to double their amount of money as she promised them at an all-night service held at her church premises on the 7th of October. Eventually, she was reported to have sent her members away from the church, prompting the alarm online.

Madam Koranteng has since been in police custody and has been going to court until her final judgement.

The police have called on all persons who were affected by the alleged money doubling scam to report to the Accra Regional police command to help with investigations.
