Vodafone Ghana Reintroduces ‘Unlimited Christmas’ Promotion For Broadband Customers

Mr David Umoh, Director of Customer Business Unit At Vodafone

Mobile telecommunication giant, Vodafone Ghana, has introduced its exciting ‘unlimited Christmas’ promotion ahead of the Christmas holidays, to provide its Fixed Broadband (FBB) customers an opportunity to do more.

With this offer, both new and already existing Vodafone broadband users will enjoy Unlimited browsing for 30 days, after paying a minimum of two months’ worth of their current fixed broadband package.

Speaking in an interview, Mr David Umoh, Director of the Consumer Business Unit at Vodafone Ghana, noted that One reason this offer is always so well-received by customers is that; it satisfies their need to stay connected to the people and things they love.

According to him, the company is always exploring ways to make connectivity more affordable and accessible to its customers, which is the reason they have brought back the Unlimited Christmas promotion to provide greater value to our customers during the holiday season.

“Christmas is here, and the company wants to reward its customers for their loyalty and make it easy for them to stay in touch with their loved ones during the holidays.”

Mr Umoh eencouraged all Vodafone fixed broadband customers to take advantage of the offer while it lasts.

To enjoy this offer by Vodafone, customers need to only dial *900# on any Vodafone mobile number or visit the official website of Vodafone Ghana or download MyVodafoneApp on the Google & App store to make payment.

Every year, Vodafone introduces this offer to its broadband customers, be it new or already existing customers. In July this year, the company introduced its 2 ‘Moorch’ Family Package that offers existing and new fixed broadband customers 100 per cent extra data.

The ‘2 Moorchpromo’ provided broadband customers with a supplementary bundle on top of their primary bundle. This meant that customers could only subscribe to the offer when they have an active core bundle.

The fixed broadband (FBB) service is a type of high-speed Internet access where connections to the internet are provided by cabling or wireless to homes or offices. This is an excellent choice if one wants to enjoy the benefits of fast internet in the privacy of their home or office. There are two options for the subscription. The Ultrafast Fibre Broadband and the Super-Fast Broadband

According to Vodafone, its Fibre broadband is their ultrafast broadband services offering speeds up to 50mbps delivered using state-of-the-art fibre optic infrastructure and available in selected locations across Ghana. It is ideal for internet hungry users with lots of devices online at the same time.

The super-fast broadband is delivered using the ADSL technology or over wireless connection to customers home or offices. Its Standard ADSL and Fixed Wireless broadband offers speeds of up to 12Mbps available to anyone with access to their landline service or Smart Surf wireless broadband router.

‘100% Home Safe’ Campaign Ahead Of Christmas

Meanwhile, the company has launched a community safety campaign called “100% Home Safe” to help reduce road accidents among commercial drivers ahead of the Christmas holiday season.

“100% Home Safe” means that all employees, suppliers, and contractors of Vodafone must take steps to make sure that all their workers get home safely 100% of the time.

Vodafone Ghana collaborated with the National Road Safety Authority, the Motor Traffic and Transport Department, the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Private Road Transport Union, and the Road Safety Transport Corporation to educate drivers on road safety and responsible behaviour.

Ashiokai Akrong, Human Resource Director at Vodafone Ghana, indicated that the new initiative will help drivers and other road users in adopting behaviours that ensure they arrive home safely before, during, and after the festive season. “Safety is both a priority and a core value at Vodafone Ghana; it is ingrained in all of our projects and activities.” she noted.
