The British Council has demonstrated its support to skills development driven at boosting economic empowerment as it launched a £1,150,000 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) project called ‘TVET Toolbox’ in Tamale among the youths in the region.

According to Nii Doodo Dodoo, British Council Country Director, the project focuses on curriculum development, career development, and private sector engagement.

“It would maximize the impact of investments, particularly European investments, in selected Sub-Saharan countries to help improve local skills, build local partnerships, create more decent jobs and support local economic development.”
