Ghanaian actress and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown, was inundated with praises from colleagues after announcing her new show.
For weeks, Ghanaians have waited for news on what show Nana Ama McBrown would be hosting on Onua TV and she’s finally answered.
The show, dubbed Onua Showtime, kicks off this Sunday, April 30th, 2023.
McBrown finally broke the news on her Instagram page today, Wednesday, April 26th, 2023.
She wrote:
“Hurray, yes, today is the day the Lord has made Onua Showtime with Nana Ama McBrown. I am so ready, Thank you, Lord, Thank you, Ghana Thank you, Everyone, I love you”.

McBrown added:
“Make a date with me THIS SUNDAY 30th April Yes THIS SUNDAY I CAN’T WAIT #OnuaShowtime 7 pm-9 pm”.

Her post drew numerous congratulatory messages from the likes of Gloria Sarfo, Emelia Brobbey, Kobi Rana, Charlie Dior, and others.
Vim Lady also shared a post, congratulating both McBrown and MzGee, who took over her show on UTV.

A list of Ghanaian celebrities who have allegedly dated married men in the past has surfaced on social media.
In a video released by controversial TikToker Gloria Enyonam, she mentioned Gifty Anti, Captain Smart, and Nana Ama McBrown happen to be part of the list of celebrities who dated individuals who were married.
According to Gloria, Nana Ama McBrown and Gifty Anti allegedly fought over former President John Agyekum Kuffour.
The two women allegedly were rivals dating Kuffour, a President and a married man.
She also revealed that Captain Smart also married someone’s wife whilst Jackie Appiah is usually cited for her alleged romantic relationship with the Liberian President George Weah, although she has denied it.
Gloria dropped made this revelation as she respond to the backlashes on the back of slaying queen Maadwoa’s death.

Captain Smart jealous and allegedly backbiting Nana Ama McBrown
According to a report, Onua TV created an exclusive studio for Nana Ama McBrown’s show.
The report says a new studio with ultra-modern equipment was set up for her to feel comfortable hosting her program.
Nana Ama McBrown is said to have received a maximum level of pampering and she keeps getting it at Media General.
According to a report, that has gotten to the nerves of Captain Smart who is the morning show host of Onua TV.
There is a report that Captain Smart is now jealous of McBrown and backbiting her.
According to the report, Captain Smart is not happy that McBrown is treated more special than the rest of them.
However, he is unable to display his sentiment towards Nana Ama McBrown but rather gossips about her behind her.
The level of pampering McBrown is getting is making him feel jealous.
The report added that the management of Onua TV has now increased their advertising prices after bringing Nana Ama McBrown on board.
