Sarkodie, also sometimes referred to as the ‘Drip Lord’ of Ghana music, has topped social media trends once again with his Casablanca suit that costs an arm and a leg.

Although he didn’t win the ultimate award at the just-ended VGMAs, his swag and memorable performance outshined many peers who also appeared at the big event.

Living up to the ‘Drip Lord’ moniker, Sarkodie wore a vintage Casablanca suit which costs a whopping $1319 according to checks on the Farfetch website.

This is equivalent to Ghc 15,564 making it a very expensive outfit. This isn’t the first time King Sark has splashed an unimaginable sum of money on either clothes or shoes.

Somewhere last year, the lyrical god splashed a whopping 16,209 euros which is equivalent to GHc 150, 508.24 on a single sneaker which is the NIKE MAG (Back to the Future) made in 2011.

Some of the reactions from Ghanaians include:

“Some things can be expensive but will still not look good on you…”

C-real H Gbate

“It seems some people don’t understand fashion it is not about this has nothing to do with fitting him o it’s just fashion biko”.

Daniel Asey

“He is unique in style biaa bi. I love his style and his brand to the max. So humble and Decent. Well nurtured and brought up, thanks to his parents and wife. God bless you, King Sark”.

Ama Aidoo

“This is almost 160 million Gh cedis… Eii… While I just need the 10 million as capital”.

Nhyiraba Jonathan

“After all this, he’s going back on a high school tour awurade”.

Popular Kumawood actor, Sunsum Ahuofe and Sarkodie

Popular Kumawood actor Sunsum Ahuofe who is out with his first single studio recording song seems not happy with how rapper Sarkodie treated him some time ago at Tema.

The actor believes he was despised by Sarkodie because of his awful protruding eyes nature.

According to the actor, he had visited his footballer friend Prince Tagoe at Tema, where Sarkodie and other celebrities like Criss Waddle, Nhyiraba Kojo et al live, so he decided to visit any of these artists since he will be spending some days in their area but the multiple awards winning rapper Sarkodie made his stay short by despising him.

Sunsum Ahoɔfe appealed to the general public to respect others with special conditions and not to behave like Sarkodie.

He also pleaded with listeners to stream his song which is already on most online platforms.
