Weeks after the death of his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie, Nollywood actor and movie producer, Yul Edochie has returned to the movie set to continue with work.
Netizens online are of the view that he and his second wife, Judy Austin, have moved on with their lives, despite the fact that his first wife, May Edochie, has not yet joined social media following the death of the son.
Judy’s close friend and Nollywood actress Sarah Martins posted a video of herself on a movie set with Yul Edochie and other crew members on Tuesday, May 16, night on her Instagram page.
Sarah stated that Yul is the director of that particular movie (Local Hot Cake) and Judy is the producer.
She wrote:

Yul Edochie’s daughter dumps father’s surname amidst family crisis
Danielle Edochie, the first child and only daughter of popular actor, Yul Edochie, carried out an unusual action on her social media page amidst the ongoing saga in her family.
A glance at the YouTuber’s page indicated that she has removed her father’s surname from her name on social media.
Amid the online drama, a glance at Yul’s daughter, Danielle’s Instagram bio shows that it has been edited and her father’s name taken off.
The Edochie family name could no longer be spotted on the Instagram bio.
Rather, she has the name ‘DIANA DANIELLE DUBEM’, boldly standing on the page.
It can be recalled that Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, had come under heavy backlash after her Thanksgiving video went viral.
The actress prayed to God for all of their heart’s aspirations to be fulfilled.
She continued by expressing gratitude to her critics, saying that their animosity had propelled her thus far in life.
Judy also begged God to bless them as he had for her despite their slander and abuse.
Nigerians had since berated Judy Austin for what they described as being insensitive considering that the Edochie family recently lost their first son.
Netizens also showed their dissatisfaction with Yul Edochie for sharing the Thanksgiving video of his second wife barely two months after the death of their son.
