Ghanaian actress, Kisa Gbekle

Ghanaian actress cum musician, Kisa Gbekle has revealed how her mother almost disowned her for venturing into music.

According to Kisa, her mother frowned on her music career because it made her look immoral.

“My mom threatened to disown me if she ever saw me wearing a bikini in my music videos. She asked me to wear full clothes or quit music. I started wearing a bikini because I was told that I needed to show a bit of skin if I wanted my music to sell”.

Kisa Gbekle recently released her first single dubbed “Korkor” and the song has released a mixed reaction on social media.

While some people praised her for taking the bold step of going into music, some people feel she should stick to acting.

Also, she has taken to her Instagram page to drop a challenge for the song which was created by dancer, Incredible Zigi.

A few months ago, Kisa Gbekle shared a video of herself going under the knife to get a bigger backside.

She said that she spent GHC 60,000 for the whole procedure.

Explaining how she raised money for the surgery, she revealed that she made good money from player transfers.

According to her, her football academy sold some players to Division One clubs Liberty Professionals and Bekwai Youth Football Academy.

She said:

“I just want to look fine for myself. I paid for it myself. Although I didn’t have money, I had a football team…I had a (transfer) deal from Liberty and Bekwai”.

She further added:

“I swear to God. I don’t think it was a good idea because I had other players that I had to take care of and buy other things for them”.

Kisa Gbekle also revealed that she comes from a very poor family. Detailing how poor her family was, she said they used to pick food from the refuse dump.

She recounted:

“We were poor to the extent that we had to walk miles to my mum’s junior sister to take corn flour. We had to go to the ‘borla’ to pick tomatoes or pepper, and we had to sit at the shore to get one fish back home to cook and eat”.

Ghanaian actress, football manager, cum singer, Kisa Gbekle revealed how she started sleeping with men when she was only 16 years.

Kisa debunked previous reports that she was raped when she was 16.

She explained:

“I never said I was raped by my boyfriend but my female friends rather influenced me to taste sex at a teen age of 16years”.

Kisa Gbekle also revealed how some desperate girls who wanted to be famous at all cost, forced themselves on movie producers for roles.

She explained that Movie Producers shouldn’t be blamed for sleeping with some girls in exchange for movie roles and this is because most of the girls want it to happen.

Kisa revealed:

“There are a lot of desperate girls in the movie industry. Most of these girls throw themselves at movie producers to be able to get some roles. I don’t blame the producers, it’s the girls. They are so desperate that they sleep with these men and manipulate them into giving them movie roles”.

Also, the actress revealed that she was very happy back in the days when she was trending for semi-nude pictures posted on social media.
