The Former President, and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2024 General Election, John Dramani Mahama is set to speak at the Humanity Summit 2023 in Faro, Portugal, today, Tuesday, 19 September, 2023.
According to the Special Aide to the former President, Joyce Bawah Mogtari Esq., the Humanity Summit has become a platform for social change and social justice, focusing mainly on the world’s humanity.
She noted that the former president would speak on matters relating to the challenges humanity across the globe are encountering and how stakeholders can work together to implement sustainable solution to address such challenges.
“It is apparent that the world’s vulnerability has never been more exposed – in this interconnected world. The whole of humanity must take part in the co-creation and implementation of sustainable solutions to long-standing and newer global challenges”.

Madam Joyce Bawah Mogtari also indicated that the annual Humanity Summit is focused on advancing the well-being of humanity through what the organizers say are ”Dignity, Equality, and Freedom”.
She noted that the summit aims to accelerate the global community’s alignment towards creating a prosperous and safe future for all.
Mahama Attends the Book Reading Event
According to the Special Aide to the Former President, Joyce Bawah Mogtari Esq,, Mr. Mahama will also attend the book reading event, where he will share with his audience some section of his memoir “My First Coup D’état”.
The flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress will also share with his audience memories of the true stories from the “Lost Decades of Africa”, and also share his views on what social interactions can do to bring about change.
The special Aide to former president emphasized that since leaving office as President of Ghana in 2016, Mr. John Dramani Mahama has become one of Africa’s leading voices on the global stage, engaging in various issues and conversations across the African continent and the world.
