Akuapem Poloo Bares It All

Akuapem Poloo

Ghanaian actress cum entrepreneur, Akuapem Poloo has bared it all by making a shocking revelation about how some top Celebrities didn’t fulfill their promises after they came on social media to make them.

According to Akuapem Poloo, Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Tracey Boakye had promised to take care of her son when she had issues with the law for indecent exposure.

Akuapem Poloo explained that Tracey promised to pay the fees of her son till she sorted out her court case but she didn’t fulfill it.

She also revealed how, artist manager, Ayisha Modi promised to give her a piece of land but she didn’t deliver on her promise either.

“Tracey Boakye didn’t pay my son’s school fees as she promised and Aisha Modi made land guards to take me to a land and I never heard from Aisha Modi again”, she revealed.

Recall that sometime in 2021, The Court of Appeal reversed the 90-day jail term slapped on social media sensation, Akuapem Poloo by the criminal division of the High Court.

The High Court on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, ordered Akuapem Poloo to return to the Nsawam Medium Security Prison to complete her 90-day jail term.

This was after the High Court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey, dismissed her Appeal seeking a non-custodial sentence instead of a custodial sentence.

The High Court ruled that the 90-day custodial sentence imposed on her by the Circuit Court was not “manifestly excessive” and “harsh” and therefore cannot interfere with that decision.

However, she revealed the main reason she didn’t partake in the recent demonstration that happened in Accra by some netizens and various celebrities to contest government intervention for a better Ghana.

Recalling the incident of being in the custody of the police, she didn’t want to have any issues with the police once again.

“I didn’t go for the #julorbihouse demonstration because I didn’t want to get arrested and because I know I am a troublemaker”, Akuapem Poloo disclosed.

Defending Yvonne Nelson For Writing A Book

Akuapem Poloo defended Yvonne Nelson for writing a book about her life and the challenges she is being faced with, adding that her book is an eye opener to teach people to go for paternity DNA test.

According to her, she [Akuapem Poloo] can’t tell if the father her mom claims to be her father is real because she has not conducted any DNA test to prove the truth.

“I can’t tell my real dad. What if I fall down now, and a paternity test is conducted, and it happens that the result is negative? I now understand her”, she explained.

She further stated that some people might be going through what the actress [Yvonne Nelson] is going through but are scared to come out to say it.

“It has enlightened our brain. Some people are being hypocrites because they can’t do it. They don’t want you to do it, but they feel like doing it”, Akuapem Poloo revealed.

According to her, some people may have conducted DNA paternity tests but have hidden it in their closets because they feel shameful about it.

Akuapem Poloo asserted that Yvonne Nelson is a celebrity who has every information on social media, adding that there is nothing to hide when it comes to issues concerning who her real dad is.

“She wants her fans to know that the Yvonne Nelson name she is bearing is not who she really is. And she’s still looking. And as a mother, if you don’t want to show your daughter or son’s real dad, it’s wickedness”, she explained.
