Bella Shmurda has reached out to his late friend, Mohbad, with a promise to be there for his son.

In a heartwarming message to the late singer, Bella Shmurda stated he is still having trouble getting over the shock of losing Mohbad.

He claimed that since his friend’s death, he has turned into an alcoholic.

The singer lamented the fact that his kid, Abiola Liam Imole, will not know the man who inspired his name—Mohbad.

With a heartfelt commitment, Bella Shmurda vowed to lend a helping hand, offering reassurance that he would step in to care for Mohbad’s young son.

He pledged to look after his son, Liam, and carry on Mohbad’s heritage.

Sharing a picture of his late friend, Mohbad, Bella Shmurda expressed.

“You told me to stop it [mourning]. I have been trying. I just hope you’re okay where you are, cos I have not been happy for days. I have been drinking and going back and forth on how to move on,” he said.

“It’s sad that Abiola Imole never got to know you. But be rest assured [that] I will tell your story. And I will definitely take care of our fruit [son]. I’m passing all the love to our sons. Lol. Lowkey, I’m Bell and Sons Inc.” he further stated.

Recall that the late singer, Mohbad died on the 12th of September, at the age of 27.

However, the exact cause of his demise remains undisclosed at this time.

It’s worth noting that Mohbad was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” but departed from the label in 2022. He had gained widespread recognition for his hit singles such as “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” in collaboration with Rexxie.

Addressing Speculations Regarding The Late Singer’s Wife, Wunmi

One of Mohbad’s friends, Adewale Akorede also known as Hayan addressed speculations regarding the late singer’s wife, Wunmi.

Many have questioned Ilerioluwa Aloba also known as Mohbad’s wife’s faithfulness, while some wondered if she had a hand in her husband’s death.

In a recently released video, Hayan warned Nigerians to stay off Wunmi’s case because she is innocent and did not kill his friend.

Hayan said the first time he met Mohbad, he was with Wunmi, and she stood by him through thick and thin in all loyalty and faithfulness.

The young man lamented over the fact that Mohbad is yet to get justice days after his death, but instead, Nigerians chose to attack his wife and young son.

Hayan also hinted that the late singer died so young because he was bullied a lot and became hypertensive, which threw him into depression.

“Mohbad is Liam’s dad. His wife is an innocent girl. They have been together for a long time. If anybody tells me they know about Mohbad’s death, I will kill the person. I want everyone to stop saying anything about his wife and his son. His wife has a 6-month-old son and she will never see her husband again,” he said.

He lamented that ever since Mohbad died, his autopsy results have not been out yet.

“@iammohbad left this wicked world 50 days today, and yet no justices no burial no autopsy results yet, and his innocent wife is labeled a murderer and his lovely son is called a bastard by Nigerians y’all failed my brother because we spoke up when everything started because our silent didn’t mean wickedness. One thing I love most is none of us is going to leave this world alive, we are all going to die it is just painful Imole left quickly with all the bullies that gave him hypertension that, which led him to depression, and made him die young. So sad.”
