In a heartfelt Christmas message, President Nana Akufo-Addo has reflected on the profound words of the Prophet Isaiah, “For unto us, a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

The President, speaking to the nation, emphasized the significance of these words for Christians and how they bring “glad tidings of great joy to our hearts.”

As the nation celebrates Christmas, President Akufo-Addo sees this occasion as an opportunity to reaffirm faith, hope, and trust in Almighty God and His only begotten son, Jesus Christ. He encourages Ghanaians to embrace a deeper appreciation of hope during times of adversity and to triumph over uncertainty.
