Ecobank Unveils ‘A Better Way, A Better Africa’ Campaign at AFCON 2023

Ecobank, the prominent Pan-African financial services group, has launched its latest brand campaign, ‘A Better Way, A Better Africa,’ during the ongoing TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 (AFCON).

As an official sponsor of the tournament, Ecobank aims to harness the unifying and progressive spirit of African football to showcase its commitment to the sustainable growth of the continent. The ‘A Better Way, A Better Africa’ campaign is a testament to Ecobank’s dedication to empowering its clients and customers in their pursuit of a brighter future.

Mr. Jeremy Awori, Chief Executive Officer of Ecobank Group, emphasizes the institution’s role in driving growth across Africa through the delivery of affordable, reliable, and innovative financial services. The campaign reflects Ecobank’s unwavering commitment to the continent, focusing on continuous improvement, enhanced customer experience, and customer-centric solutions.

The campaign is built on insights gathered from an extensive Pan-African brand survey, tapping into the perspectives and opportunities identified during the research. Ecobank’s Pan-African purpose, represented by its single gateway platform and a diverse workforce operating in 35 countries, positions the institution as a facilitator and partner for clients and customers seeking new opportunities.

The campaign also shines a spotlight on Ecobank’s digital network and continent-wide connectivity. The bank’s unified payment ecosystem supports market access and business growth, aligning with the opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

By leveraging technology and connectivity, Ecobank aims to be at the forefront of driving financial inclusion and economic empowerment across Africa.

The ‘A Better Way, A Better Africa’ campaign is a fully integrated initiative that encompasses a diverse mix of digital and traditional media. A television commercial, filmed on the continent, adds a personal touch to the campaign, resonating with the diverse audiences across Africa.

The campaign is set to continue its rollout across the continent following the conclusion of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023.

Ecobank’s strategic unveiling of the ‘A Better Way, A Better Africa’ campaign at AFCON 2023 underlines the institution’s commitment to playing a pivotal role in Africa’s sustainable growth. By aligning with the dynamic and unifying spirit of African football, Ecobank seeks to not only reinforce its brand but also inspire positive change and progress across the continent.

As the campaign continues its journey across Africa, it symbolizes Ecobank’s unwavering dedication to being a catalyst for a brighter and more prosperous future for the entire African continent.
