Ghana’s Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel A. Jinapor, is gearing up to spearhead an agenda of sustainable mining practices at the Mining Indaba 2024 in Cape Town, taking place from today 5th to 8th February 2024.

Following this, a strategic meeting with AngloGold Ashanti is on the agenda, focusing on strengthening partnerships and exploring avenues for environmentally conscious mining initiatives.

As the days unfold, Minister Jinapor will engage in a series of crucial meetings with industry leaders, including Rand Refinery, Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), B2Gold, and the US Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
