Kennedy Agyapong And Sylvester Tetteh Engages In Near Fisticuff

In a surprising turn of events during today’s parliamentary session, the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Honorable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, and his colleague from Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh, found themselves at the centre of a heated confrontation that almost escalated into a physical altercation.

The tension in the chamber reached a boiling point when Kennedy Agyapong reportedly approached Sylvester Tetteh, sparking a fiery exchange of words that quickly intensified.

Video surfacing social media shows that the situation was so volatile that other parliamentarians had to step in to play the role of peacemakers.

Although the parliamentary session was ongoing, Mr Agyapong is seen in a subsequent video engaging in a heated verbal exchange with Mr Tetteh, vehemently urging him to step aside.

The sudden confrontation caught many Members of Parliament off guard as the argument grew more intense. As voices rose and accusations flew, the situation quickly escalated, with both legislators standing toe-to-toe, their faces contorted with anger.

It seemed as though a physical confrontation was imminent, with tensions reaching a fever pitch, however, before matters could escalate further, cooler heads prevailed, and fellow Members of Parliament intervened to defuse the situation.

The Deputy Majority Leader and Member of Parliament Effutu Constituency, Honorable Alexander Afenyo-Markin, took charge of the situation by creating a space for the two Members of Parliament of the ruling New Patriotic Party to express their grievances.

Thus, under the guidance of the Deputy Majority Leader and Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency, Honorable Alexander Afenyo Markins the Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro Member of Parliament, Sylvester Tetteh was guided away from the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, which led to restoring order in the chamber.
