Ghanaian socialite Afia Schwarzenegger has lambasted persons who are vehemently opposing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s Free Senior High School (SHS) proposal.

According to her, the reports that some Free SHS students study under trees, making the policy not beneficial, do not make sense because the incumbent President introduced such an initiative.

She mentioned that Ghanaians ought to value the education policy since it was nonexistent while former President John Dramani Mahama was in government. She further noted that John Dramani Mahama’s purchasing of Guinea fowls took precedence over other worthwhile projects.

Speaking during a live TikTok session, Afia Schwarzenegger asserted that Ghanaians should be appreciative of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.

“Ghanaians need to be grateful for the current state of affairs in their nation as things would have been worse if the other political party—the NDC—had been in power. This nation will be ruled by Dr. Bawumia, who will lead us forward. People are chastizing Free SHS because some students study under trees, but the previous political party never offered us this luxury. This is why many are criticizing Free SHS,” she noted.

“NDC has nothing to say. We saw what they did when they ruled the country for eight years. During their tenure, was the Free SHS existing in the classroom, and Akuffo-Addo brought it under the trees? Which is more essential, guinea fowls or education [Free SHS]?” She quizzed.

Afia Schwarzenegger made her statement in response to criticism directed at President Akuffo-Addo by certain persons, including members of the NDC, for the Free SHS policy’s poor implementation, citing obstacles including the lack of infrastructure.

The administration has not responded to pleas from certain legislators and educational professionals for a reassessment of the program.

Afia Schwarzenegger struck hard at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) political party once again.

Recall that ahead of the 2016 elections, Afia Schwarzenegger tirelessly campaigned for John Mahama but unfortunately, he was defeated by Nana Akuffo-Addo after the polls.

Just after Nana Akuffo-Addo’s victory, Afia Schwarzenegger switched sides and swore Heaven and Earth that the NPP was the best thing to ever happen to Ghana.

Ever since Afia Schwarzenegger pitched her tent next to the NPP, she has steadily attacked John Mahama and the NDC with the slightest opportunity she gets.

Ahead of the highly anticipated 2024 general elections, Afia Schwarzenegger allegedly received a huge sum of money from the ruling NPP just to dirty the NDC and make the political party unpopular.

As confessed by Afia Schwarzenegger during a live TikTok session, she has been contracted by the NPP just to pass vile comments about John Mahama to make sure he loses the impending elections

As alleged by the socialite, when the NDC was in power, they paid her to attack the NPP and also blackmail them hence she won’t spare John Mahama as she has been hired by the NPP to do the same.

In the now-viral video, Afia Schwarzenegger also argued that if the NDC was in power, Ghana would have turned into a clown republic citing the COVID-19 crisis as well as the Russian-Ukraine war.

She also recounted the infamous John Mahama bus rebranding and quizzed what the NDC has to offer Ghanaians after 8 years of being in power and destroying the nation.

Afia Schwarzenegger ended the TikTok live session by campaigning for Bawumia to win the next elections.

“I said I have been paid by the NPP just like the NDC was paying me,” she further emphasized.
