Cheddar Discloses Vision For Ghana’s Creative Arts Industry

Cheddar

Presidential aspirant, Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Freedom Jacob Caesar, but popularly known as Cheddar, has outlined some plans he has for the creative arts industry in Ghana should he be voted as President.

Cheddar acknowledged the limitations of his current influence and resources but noted that he is committed to making a broader impact should he become President.

“So it’s not like I’m not thinking about them. I just think that when I get into the industrial sector, I’ll be able to advise our industries of entertainment, and fashion and football on how to structure themselves. How to put these machines, put these plants, and connect to these people so you can distribute products like iTunes, Spotify, etc. These are machines, these are robots, but we don’t have them. We are not also interested in getting it.

“Some white man has bought them. Maybe the machines are in India. They have somebody working 24 hours, but they’re taking money from everyone in this world. And that is the sort of mentality and knowledge that I want to bring into the industry. So it’s not like I’ve forgotten about it. There is only a little I can do now based on the power I have.”

Cheddar

Cheddar further discussed his friendship with notable figures in the entertainment, fashion, and sports industry.

“I like show business. Most of my friends are from here. I have friends who are musicians, from Davido to Wizkid to Stonebwoy to Shatta Wale, everybody is my friend. These guys have such massive respect for me. I can be doing business and still have time for their world and be able to sit down and talk with them and everything.”

Cheddar

However, he expressed a lack of interest in pursuing a career within these industries, stating his belief that his purpose was greater than being an industry player.

“I’m not interested in being in their industry because, yes, I like them, I will advise them, I will help them, but I think my purpose is bigger than that. My purpose, with all due respect, is not to be a musician, a rapper, or some music producer. Enough respect for those people, that’s what they do. But I feel like I have a much bigger purpose than that.

“Even though I have invested in those areas, when I realized that the numbers didn’t relate to me that much, you know, I kind of left it. But I still connect with them and I’m still with them.”

Cheddar

Cheddar stated that his ultimate goal is to bring a transformative mentality and knowledge to the industry, aiming for significant societal contribution.

Cheddar Feeds His Cubs One Cow Every 3 Days

Nana Kwame Bediako revealed that he feeds his pet tigers (Kunta and Kinte) a cow every three days.

This follows an earlier revelation that he would soon add a panther and some lions to his collection of wild animals.

He explained that he is now permitted to care for the animals following an assessment of the facility he has constructed for them, denying claims that the animals were taken from him.

“Nobody took any animal from me. They can’t take any animal from me. They tried to and they didn’t even have the facility. I had the facility. I built it behind my house. We built the zoo. It took us nine months to build a world-class zoo.

“They have always been in my possession. The tigers are my animals. I feed them with one cow every three days. It is very expensive to keep them if not they eat you. If you don’t give them any flesh and you are standing in front of them, they will use you as a substitute.”

According to him, he is also well-equipped and resourced to ensure the safety of the animals as well as human beings who come into contact with them.

The comment by the founder of the New Force Movement comes on the back of massive backlash directed at him when it was discovered that he was housing tigers in his home.

Subsequently, his neighbors called on authorities to intervene since they were feeling unsafe.

He then disclosed that his prime purpose for keeping the animals was to prove to naysayers that Ghana could eventually be one of the countries to breed wild creatures such as tigers.

Cheddar also stated that he had a dream to build a zoo as part of his portfolio. This zoo will add to his long list of infrastructure such as museums and others.

“I knew that it would open the tourism sector of this country. And we will be the first country in East Africa, West Africa, and North Africa that has bred tigers. I wanted to build a zoo as part of my portfolio.

“I have built a museum, put up commercial, residential, and industrial facilities and now I’m onto national projects. I knew that Kunta and Kinte would give me that uprising to go into building a zoo.”
