Yul admitted that many have been left doubtful, wondering why he refrained from offering public condolences or paying tribute to his late colleague.
He hinted at a deep-seated betrayal that tainted their relationship and revealed that he had always treated Junior Pope like a brother and a close friend.
“I didn’t want to say anything till after his burial. I know many asked why I was not there. Why I haven’t said anything about it since? I took him like a brother and good friend. I was there for him when he needed me.
