Ghanaian dance sensations, Afronitaaa and Abigail have finished in third place in the highly competitive finals of Britain’s Got Talent (BGT).

John Mahama Reacts to Dancers’ Feat

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama reacted to the feat chalked by Afronitaaa and her dance partner, Abigail.

In a post celebrating the duo, the former President disclosed that their performances are an indication of the fact that the Ghanaian youth is talented and must be appreciated.

“You’ve given us another reason to be proud of our country, Ghana, and the talent and creativity of its youth. Go all out, Abigail and Afronitaaa!”.

Some prominent personalities in the country also reacted to the duo’s outstanding performance.

Sam Nartey George, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, and Bola Ray congratulated Afronitaaa and her mentee, Abigail.

Afronitaaa and Abigail were hoping to win this year’s Britain’s Got Talent but came third on the night.

The duo were competing for the life-changing £250,000 cash prize and a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.

Sydnie Christmas, a solo artiste who wowed the audience and judges with her impressive vocal ability, walked away with the coveted title and the cash prize. Following closely were the runner-ups, Jack Rhodes, Afronitaaa, and Abigail.

The Television show is judged by Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli.

While it is jointly hosted by the duo Ant and Dec.
