Bawah Mogtari Vaunts Mahama’s Vision to Transform Ghana’s Agriculture

Joyce Bawah Mogtari Esq, the Special Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama and Spokesperson for the Mahama 2024 Campaign Team has underscored the National Democratic Congress flagbearer’s vision to transform the country’s agriculture when elected as President in the upcoming general elections.

Mrs Mogtari, in a compelling statement, argued that the National Democratic Congress flagbearer and leader’s vast experience and knowledge in governance makes him the best candidate for the country’s Presidency in the December 07 2024 general elections.

“We have travelled the length and breadth of our beloved country, Ghana. Indeed, very few leaders know this country as well as John Mahama.   From his days as a Member of Parliament right up to the high office of Vice President and President of the Republic of Ghana, he has traversed every nook and cranny of this country”.

Recounting former President John Dramani Mahama’s recent country-wide tour dubbed #LetsBuildGhanaTogether, Mrs Mogtari underscored Mr Mahama’s commitment to achieving a robust agricultural agenda.

She stated that Mr Mahama’s engagements during the tour underscored his vision to transform agriculture into a cornerstone of Ghana’s economy.

Mrs Mogtari also added that the National Democratic Congress flagbearer has consistently emphasized the critical role of agribusiness development and the importance of adding value to agricultural products to foster job creation and employment opportunities.

She highlighted Mr Mahama’s advocacy and commitment to making agriculture an attractive and viable career path for the youth, emphasizing the need for innovative approaches to drawing young talent into the sector.

“As a farmer himself, he continues to lead by example, promoting Ghana’s rich potential for growth through farming, our beautiful arable lands and its value to farmers, and reinforcing the country’s agricultural potential. JM emphasizes the need to make Agriculture attractive to our youth”.

Impact of 24-hour Economy on Agriculture

Highlighting the prospect of the National Democratic Congress flagbearer, former President John Dramani Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy, the Spokesperson for the Mahama 2024 Campaign Team, Joyce Bawah Mogtari indicated that the policy aims to provide sustainable job opportunities for young farmers.

She strongly asserted that the 24-hour economy policy is geared towards achieving food sufficiency in Ghana through targeted funding and training programs.

Mrs Mogtari further emphasized that by investing in the agricultural sector and supporting young entrepreneurs, Mr Mahama and the National Democratic Congress’s next administration aims to harness the country’s rich, arable lands to create a thriving, self-sufficient economy.
