The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed confidence in its newly constituted campaign team, touted as a tactical masterstroke aimed at securing a triumphant outcome in the upcoming December elections.

Alexander Segbefia, Head of the Running Mate’s Campaign, affirmed that the party’s strategic moves have positioned them favorably ahead of the election, stating that the deliberate decisions made will yield positive outcomes for the party.

He emphasized that the NDC is thoroughly satisfied with the composition of its campaign team, confident that the carefully selected members will effectively drive the party’s message and secure a successful outcome in the election.

“The meat will be put unto what is the bones and we are very conversant with how our campaign will run…We are very clear about our campaign, and we are happy with what we have put out. We are most effective with the little resources that we have. So, we are planning, planning, planning, execution. So, it is going to be very scientific”.

The NDC also called on its members to redouble their efforts and remain steadfast in their commitment to the party’s objectives, emphasizing the importance of unity and dedication in achieving their electoral ambitions.

John Mahama’s Record Far Surpasses Rivals

Furthermore, individual competence is essential for a presidential candidate to demonstrate their ability to lead the nation effectively.

This includes strong leadership skills and vision, integrity and accountability, policy knowledge and expertise, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and unite the nation.

A candidate’s individual competence can earn them the trust and confidence of the electorate, ultimately leading to victory at the polls.

Accordingly, Alex Segbefia confidently declared that the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, will emerge victorious in the December elections by a landslide, stating that his win is all but certain.

According to Alex Segbefia, John Mahama’s achievements and legacy far surpass those of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, making him the standout candidate in the upcoming election.

“We have a case because there is a direct comparison now. We have a flagbearer who has been president before, [and] has been Vice President before. You can compare his record as Vice President with the record of the current Vice President. You can compare his record as President with the current President.”
