Blakk Rasta Reveals KK Fosu Might Be Suffering From PTSD

Blakk Rasta

Reggae musician and political commentator, Blakk Rasta, has responded to the recent criticism of fellow musician, KK Fosu, for not attending the funeral of the late blogger, John Claude.

However, reacting to this, Blakk Rasta said that he believes KK Fosu’s behavior might be a sign of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

“When things like this happen, you need to be careful, my brother. George Britton posted earlier today posted that he was so disappointed that KK Fosu did not attend the funeral. As to whether he spoke to KK Fosu before going to post such a thing on the World Wide Web, I will not be able to tell.

“My brother, my sister, I saw so many people talking about this thing and writing about it on social media. Then later, this morning, I started hearing interviews left, right, and center that were granted by KK Fosu.”

Blakk Rasta

Blakk Rasta stated that KK Fosu could have answered that his sickness got worse when he was questioned about why he was ready to go to the Ghana Music Awards to perform an Amakye Dede song and get paid at the time he was freshly injured but couldn’t go to John Claude’s funeral.

The broadcaster further quizzed KK Fosu if he cared about the deceased’s family after losing one of them.

“What did KK Fosu say? He said, ‘Listen, I am a musician. That is how I feed my family. I was in the hospital when my family started coming in to greet me, my wife, and my children. I felt so down because I am the breadwinner of my family. They couldn’t eat anything while I was away on the bed sick. Some other people had to come in and support’.

“That was what KK Fosu said. I mean, straight away it will hit so many people to say that this is quite disrespectful and unsympathetic. You still have your life, family members come to greet you, but one other person who was with you in the car and was a videographer of a good friend of yours who you invited on the trip lost his life. Do you care about his family?”

Blakk Rasta

He emphasized that PTSD is a condition that requires serious attention, especially in Ghana, and noted that KK Fosu is suffering from it.

“For all you know, KK Fosu is suffering from PTSD. So, to all the people out there pointing fingers at him, oh you wanted to go for the Ghana Music Awards at the time you were in the hospital yet you couldn’t make it to the funeral and you are there talking nonsense please start thinking that he might be suffering from PTSD, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. It’s not a common sickness in Ghana.”

Blakk Rasta

Both KK Fosu and musician Bless were involved in the same accident that resulted in John Claude’s death.

Recently, KK Fosu denied knowing John Claude, which has also led to significant backlash from some Ghanaians.

He reportedly stated that the publicist’s death had no impact on him, allowing him to continue his normal activities.

Ghanaian entertainment pundit Kwaku Osei Koranteng Asiedu, popularly known as KOKA, weighed in on the backlash veteran singer KK Fosu received for his recent comments about the late blogger John Claude Tamakloe.

In a social media post shared on Instagram, KOKA expressed his disappointment with KK Fosu’s critics for some of the criticisms they directed against him in the wake of the controversy.

The entertainment pundit criticized some media personalities for sharing their opinions on the issue without doing any investigations about the accident that took the life of the late blogger John Claude Tamakloe.

“What kind of journalism are we doing now? People did not go to the accident scene. They did not get any information from the police or speak with John’s family or the other two people involved in the accident. No media house even covered the burial. Only bloggers and pundits went to the funeral but people are just spewing their opinions.”

KOKA

KOKA criticized the media for not reaching out to KK Fosu before his recent controversial interview to seek his opinion before publicly criticizing him.

KK Fosu courted controversy for his remarks when he was asked to address his absence at John Claude’s funeral.
