NDC Manifesto Launch

In a passionate call to action, Joyce Bawah Mogtari Esq, Special Aide and Spokesperson for former President John Dramani Mahama has invited all Ghanaians to the much-anticipated launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 Manifesto in Winneba.

Lawyer Mogtari, in a statement, emphasized that the manifesto, aptly named “The People’s Manifesto,” is crafted to reset the future of Ghana and is a blueprint designed with the aspirations of all Ghanaians in mind.

“This Manifesto will outline the priorities necessary to create an equitable and inclusive Ghana, where opportunities are accessible to all. It envisions a Ghana where every one of the 16 regions receives its fair share of the national resources, ensuring that, together with John Dramani Mahama, Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, and the NDC, we can build a prosperous nation”.

In her remarks, Lawyer Mogtari highlighted the manifesto’s core pillars, focusing on economic growth, infrastructural development, and governance reforms.

She noted that the National Democratic Congress’s approach is holistic, aiming to reset various sectors that are critical to the nation’s progress.

“We aim to reset our economy for growth, our infrastructure for development, and our governance systems to ensure transparency, accountability, and the end of corruption,” Mogtari asserted.

Educational and Healthcare Reforms

Furthermore, the Spokesperson for the National Democratic Congress flagbearer, former President John Dramani Mahama indicated that a significant part of the NDC’s plan involves overhauling the country’s educational and healthcare systems.

According to Lawyer Mogtari, these sectors are in dire need of reform to ensure inclusivity and fairness.

“Our educational system needs a reset to make it inclusive for all, and our governance structures must be reformed to eliminate political bias and partisanship, establishing a fair system rooted in meritocracy and equity”.

Additionally, Joyce Bawah Mogtari Esq. pointed out that the National Democratic Congress manifesto also seeks to undertake reforms in the banking and agricultural sectors of the country’s economy.

She argued that these areas are crucial for reducing poverty and hardship across the nation.

She painted a picture of a more prosperous Ghana, where jobs and better employment opportunities are available to all citizens, not just a “small clique of corrupt family and friends.”

She underscored the National Democratic Congress and its flagbearer former President John Dramani Mahama’s stance against what she described as nepotism and cronyism in the current administration.

Concluding her remarks, Lawyer Joyce Bawah Mogtari called for unity and support from all Ghanaians, urging them to join former President John Dramani Mahama, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, and the National Democratic Congress in Winneba.

She described the manifesto launch as not just a political event, but a pivotal moment for the country’s democracy and future.

“Let’s unite in Winneba with John Mahama and the NDC as we launch the 2024 Manifesto to reset and restore our motherland, Ghana, and reinvigorate confidence in our democracy,” she concluded.

The NDC’s manifesto launch is expected to draw significant attention, as it lays out the party’s vision for Ghana’s future.

With promises of sweeping reforms and a commitment to transparency and equity, the event marks a critical juncture in the lead-up to the December 2024 general elections.

The manifesto launch is a crucial milestone in the NDC’s campaign, as it will provide the electorate with a comprehensive understanding of the party’s priorities and proposals for addressing the country’s pressing challenges.

The party’s pledge to address widespread concerns about corruption, economic mismanagement, and social inequality will likely resonate with many voters seeking change.
