Akogtu stated that Dr. Apaak believes that empowering women is essential for sustainable development and community growth according to the press release.

The statement highlighted that the MP aims to foster an environment where all community members can actively contribute to and share in the region’s progress.

The statement further noted that, against this backdrop, Hon. Dr. Apaak donated Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 20,000.00) to four women’s groups in the Builsa South Constituency.

This funding aims to facilitate the connection of electricity to two rice mills, which will enhance productivity and efficiency in their operations.

Additionally, the donation will support the roofing of two other important structures: another rice mill and a conference hall.

According to the press release, by investing in these projects, Dr. Apaak seeks to empower local women and promote economic development in the community.

The statement emphasized that the MP recognizes that reliable electricity and proper infrastructure are essential for the growth of small businesses and community initiatives, ultimately contributing to the overall prosperity of Builsa South.

Furthermore, the statement indicated that the financial assistance was extended to women’s groups in Buterisa, Logmiisa, Yerinsa, and Zongo, all located in Fumbisi.

Each group, the statement indicated, received Five Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 5,000.00) from Dr. Apaak to support their initiatives and empower their members.

“Presenting the cash to the various groups on behalf of the Member of Parliament, Chairman Caesar Akinkang encouraged the women groups to use the money for the intended purposes as that will motivate the MP to always be ready to reach out to them anytime the need arises”.

By prioritizing the needs of the less privileged, the MP aims to foster a more inclusive and equitable society where everyone can thrive and contribute to the community’s progress.

“The women groups were in jubilant moods when Chairman Caesar announced the cash amount to them and assured him of their readiness to retain Dr. Clement Apaak as their MP so that he could continue his good works”.
