Prominent media personality, MC Yaa Yeboah has recently opened up about a painful and deeply personal experience from her school days.

She recounted an incident at Achimota Preparatory School that left a lasting impact on her self-esteem. After delivering a poem at another school, Yaa Yeboah was pulled aside by her Twi teacher, who told her, she was not “beautiful enough.”

“You shouldn’t be in a hurry to be in the midst of people. You are not beautiful enough, you can never be a TV presenter. You’re too black to be on TV.”

This cruel comment, combined with the bullying she endured from her classmates, made Yaa Yeboah feel unattractive throughout her school years. “I never felt pretty, so I used to fight a lot because that was the only language I understood. If anyone tried to come at me, I would beat that person up,” she disclosed.

She explained that during her school years, being light-skinned was considered the beauty standard, which further contributed to her lack of confidence.

Despite these challenges, Yaa Yeboah has defied the odds. She has risen above the negativity and is now a successful TV and radio presenter, as well as a respected MC.

Her journey is a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit and a reminder that beauty and talent shine far beyond the boundaries of hurtful stereotypes.

The Ghanaian former TV show host also opened up on why she decided to quit her former media house.

MC Yaa Yeboah disclosed that she left Bryte TV after making her mark. She explained that after years of working for them, she had left her mark and decided to move on to other opportunities.

The prominent media personality opened up about her baby daddy. According to her, her baby daddy is not in the entertainment industry. “I did not give birth with an industry person. My baby daddy is a good man who takes good care of the kids,” she narrated.

MC Yeboah Tackles Promiscuity Claims

Broadcaster and entertainment pundit, MC Yaa Yeboah has strongly dismissed allegations that she is a promiscuous woman who has slept with numerous people in her field of work.

These statements are in response to the recent claims circulating on social media that she has had affairs with various media personalities, including rumors that A Plus, a married man, is the father of her child.

She addressed circulating rumors suggesting she had engaged in sexual relationships with colleagues, especially those on UTV’s United Showbiz, where she is a regular pundit. “That is what they are saying, but it is not the truth,” Yeboah stated firmly.

Yaa Yeboah, who recently chastized Efia Odo, questioned the source’s credibility of these allegations. “You’ve been a victim of the person who made this known. If Ghanaians are to take this person seriously, then we have a problem,” MC Yaa Yeboah stated.

While refuting the claims, Yeboah also asserted her right to privacy, emphasizing that her personal life should not be subject to public scrutiny.

“Whoever gives me orgasm is nobody’s business. The taxes of Ghanaians aren’t linked to my private parts, so I’m not accountable to anyone. I don’t owe anyone an explanation.”

She further stated that all the individuals and all the industry men she is rumored to have slept with are simply her brothers.

“Arnold, A-Plus, Akwasi Aboagye, Ola Michael, and all the men they said I have slept with are all my brothers. These are colleagues in the industry who have helped me to get to where I am. To wake up one morning to someone claiming that I have slept with all these people is totally absurd. It’s nobody’s business even how I live my life.”

The entertainment pundit revealed her realization in the industry. “One thing I have realized is that, as a woman in this industry, once you start climbing up and your voice is being heard, they tag you with prostitution,” she added.
