Ghanaian media personality Oheneni Adazoa has addressed circulating rumors suggesting she is secretly pregnant, or has already given birth and kept it from the public.
The seasoned broadcaster firmly denied the claims, calling them not only false but deeply insensitive.
With calm composure and characteristic wit, Oheneni tackled the rumors directly, stating that the speculation is unfounded and lacks any truth. She made it clear that there’s absolutely no basis for the claims being made about her personal life.
“Some are saying I’ve had a child and I’m hiding it. But for what reason would I ever do that? There are some matters that don’t even require a direct response—just look at me. Do I appear pregnant to you?”

The outspoken media figure explained that she had chosen not to respond earlier because she believed the public could discern the truth for themselves.
Relying on the well-known Ghanaian saying, “seeing is believing,” she allowed time to expose the absurdity of the rumors before addressing them.
“I wanted people to use their own eyes. Because sometimes, silence is more powerful than a reaction. But clearly, the speculation has gone too far.”

What the public may not have known is the painful and private journey Oheneni has endured in pursuit of motherhood. For over two decades, she has been married, and during that time, undergone six IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) procedures.

Speaking candidly, she expressed that if she were ever blessed with a child, she would shout it from the rooftops—not hide it.
“I’ve been married for 21 years. I’ve had six IVF attempts. Do you think, after going through all that, I would hide my child? Absolutely not. If God blesses me with a child, I will celebrate it openly. I’ll even place their picture on billboards so the world can see what God has done.”

According to Oheneni, concealing such a significant moment would not only be unthinkable but also a dishonor to the very faith that has carried her through her personal struggles. “If I ever hide that kind of blessing, even God would be disappointed in me,” she said.
The broadcaster also used the opportunity to highlight the damaging impact of unverified social media gossip. In her view, the obsession with personal lives and the rush to make viral claims comes at the expense of human empathy and truth.
“We’ve come to a point where some people care more about trending than telling the truth. It’s sad. People forget that public figures are human beings too—with struggles, emotions, and stories you know nothing about.”

Oheneni urged Ghanaians to approach rumors with skepticism and consider the harm they may cause before spreading them.
Oheneni Adazoa’s Message of Strength and Faith

Despite the emotional toll such rumors can take, Oheneni remains grounded in faith and optimism. Her message was one of resilience and transparency—an invitation for society to normalize conversations around fertility struggles and personal boundaries.
She thanked her supporters and emphasized that, should motherhood happen for her, the entire country would know. “I’ll never keep that a secret. I’ll share that joy with everyone, because it will be a testimony to God’s power,” she added.
Netizens reacted to Oheneni Adazoa’s confirmation that she is not pregnant.
“Mummy, thank you for granting this interview for clarity. God of the Oheneni is going to shame your enemies soon. Women of Faith, we love you, Mummy.”
