Enterprise Insurance Sweeps CIIG Excellence Awards, Inducted Into Prestigious Hall of Fame

Enterprise Insurance Limited, Ghana’s oldest insurance company and the only AAA-rated insurer by GCR South Africa, reaffirmed its leadership at the 5th Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) Excellence Awards.

The company emerged as the most decorated winner of the night, taking home top corporate awards that reinforced its century-old legacy of trust, innovation, and service excellence.

For the fourth consecutive time, Enterprise Insurance was crowned General Insurer of the Year, a feat that no competitor has been able to match. In recognition of this consistent industry dominance, the company was also inducted into the CIIG Hall of Fame, a prestigious honour reserved for firms that have demonstrated sustained leadership and impact in the insurance sector.

The company’s triumph went beyond corporate performance. Enterprise Insurance was also named CSR Company of the Year for its monumental Centenary Mechanized Borehole Project, which delivered clean, safe, and accessible water to communities in all 16 regions of Ghana.

This project not only addressed one of Ghana’s pressing developmental challenges — access to potable water — but also highlighted Enterprise Insurance’s philosophy of building stronger communities while safeguarding lives and property. By integrating social impact with business success, the insurer once again showed why it remains a trusted household name.

Individual Excellence Shines Bright

The spotlight was not only on the company but also on its remarkable staff, whose achievements further underlined Enterprise’s strength. Danny Anderson was honoured as Young Insurance Professional of the Year, showcasing the vibrant new generation of talent being nurtured within the company.

In addition, Isaac Owusu-Adjei was awarded the distinguished title of Insurance Agent of the Year, outshining competitors across the industry. These individual awards symbolise the company’s commitment to developing world-class professionals who carry forward its reputation for excellence.

Leadership’s Dedication to Customers and Staff

Speaking after the event, Managing Director of Enterprise Insurance, Akosua Ansah-Antwi, dedicated the multiple honours to customers and staff.

“These awards belong first to our cherished customers who continue to trust us with their most important needs, and to our dedicated staff who consistently go above and beyond. We assure our customers of even more innovative, tailor-made insurance solutions that provide real value and peace of mind.”

Akosua Ansah-Antwi

Her words resonated with the company’s long-standing motto of delivering “The Enterprise Advantage” — a promise of protection, innovation, and unmatched service.

Founded in 1924, Enterprise Insurance has become a symbol of resilience and innovation in Ghana’s insurance sector. Its induction into the CIIG Hall of Fame cements its place as not only a pioneer but also a forward-looking institution shaping the future of insurance.

The accolades affirm that Enterprise Insurance is more than a service provider; it is a reliable partner for individuals, families, and businesses, ensuring peace of mind while contributing to national development.

The company’s victories at the 5th CIIG Excellence Awards go beyond industry recognition — they serve as a reassurance to customers and stakeholders. Choosing Enterprise Insurance means partnering with a brand that consistently delivers value while actively investing in the wellbeing of communities.

From winning General Insurer of the Year four times in a row to pioneering life-changing CSR projects, Enterprise Insurance continues to set the bar high in Ghana’s insurance sector. Its recent Hall of Fame induction is not just an honour but a testament to 100 years of service, trust, and innovation.
