Newmont has announced a partnership with the Government of Ghana to rehabilitate the 46-kilometer Sunyani–Ntotroso–Acherensua highway in the Bono Region.
This transformative project, which was officially launched last month between Newmont and the Ministry of Roads and Highways, will not only improve transportation but also boost local economies and foster sustainable development in the region.

The partnership between Newmont and the Ministry of Roads and Highways was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to commence the project’s implementation.
“Last month, we signed an MoU with the Ministry of Roads and Highways to kickstart this transformative project, and the contractor is already mobilizing to begin work.”
