Qatar Charity has reaffirmed their support for helping to implement charitable projects by donating ten wheelchairs to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The gesture seeks to improve patient mobility and improve the health needs of people in such conditions.
The Project Coordinator, Mr. Abdul Sataar, presented the items on behalf of the Qatar Foundation during a brief function at the hospital. Speaking at the event, Mr. Sataar restated the establishment’s pledge to support the delivery of quality healthcare in health organizations.
He noted that wheelchairs are vital tools in hospital surroundings where patient mobility is continuous and sometimes presents a challenge. He further noted that the availability of these wheelchairs will help present a safe movement for patients who need support.
