Award-winning gospel musician Joe Mettle has officially unveiled the 14th edition of his flagship annual worship experience, Praise Reloaded 2026, under the powerful theme “The River”. The event is set to take place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium, returning to the iconic venue after the 2025 edition was hosted at El-Wak Sports Stadium.
The announcement was made during a vibrant press launch held at Joe Mettle’s newly opened Reverb Studios in Sowutuom, Accra. The state of the art, ultra-modern facility reportedly valued at over $1 million was unveiled alongside the event details, symbolizing a significant milestone in Ghana’s gospel music infrastructure.
Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle, recognised by his stage name Joe Mettle, is a Ghanaian gospel musician and songwriter. On 8 April 2017, he made history by being the first Ghanaian Gospel musician to win the coveted Artist of the year award at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards.

The launch brought together media personalities, fellow gospel ministers, and industry stakeholders in an atmosphere charged with excitement and anticipation. Speaking passionately at the event, Joe Mettle shared his deep conviction about the theme.

He went on to elaborate on the spiritual significance, painting a vivid picture of divine flow and transformation.
“And so this year that is what we’re going to be focusing more on and trusting God that that river that flows and brings life. In fact, the river also, like we said, is also the very life of God. So when a river of God flows in the life of a person, it brings nourishment, it brings life into every dead thing.”

Event Details
The main Praise Reloaded 2026 gathering will see gates open at 1:00 PM, with the programme kicking off at 3:00 PM. Organizers promise an intense atmosphere of anointed worship, heartfelt praise, and life-transforming encounters that have become the hallmark of the series since its inception.
The first wave of confirmed guest ministers and groups includes powerhouse names in Ghanaian and international gospel circles, Eugene Zuta,Daughters of Glorious Jesus and Bethel Revival Choir.
Joe Mettle hinted at more surprises, stating, “I am excited to announce Eugene Zuta, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, and the Bethel Revival Choir. In addition, a host of friends and family my brothers and fellow artistes from Ghana and the international gospel community will be unveiled progressively as the promotions continue.”
To build momentum toward the main event, a series of preparatory activities have been lined up. These include a Praise Reloaded float scheduled for June 13, 2026, and a Music Seminar on June 20, 2026, at Reverb Studios. Campus activations and other engagement programmes are also in the works, ensuring broader participation, especially among the youth.
