Comedian and digital creator Druski has signed a multi-year deal with Netflix to develop and produce original content exclusively for the streaming platform through his company, 4Lifers Entertainment.
The agreement, announced on November 2, 2026, marks a major mainstream expansion for the Atlanta-based entertainer, who built his career through self-funded sketches and series that amassed more than one billion views on YouTube.
The first project under the deal is the semi-scripted comedy series Collect & Praise, set to premiere on Netflix on December 1. In the show, Druski stars as a money-hungry megachurch pastor, while veteran comedian Mike Epps plays his unpredictable deacon. The pair “scheme their way through scandal, chaos and controversy,” according to the official logline.
The series expands a character Druski first introduced in a viral internet sketch titled “Mega Church Pastors Love Money.” He later brought the persona to the stage while hosting the 2026 BET Awards, further boosting its popularity.

Unlike a traditional overall or first-look deal, the Netflix agreement covers a specific number of projects. In addition to new original series, the streamer will license select titles from Druski’s existing catalog. These include Coulda Been Love, Coulda Been Daddy, Coulda Been Records Auditions, and various comedic sketches that helped establish his reputation for sharp character work and cultural satire.
About the Comedian
Druski, born Drew Desbordes, has often spoken about the independent path that led to this partnership. On The Diary of a CEO podcast, he revealed that Netflix and other platforms previously passed on multiple projects. He chose to self-finance his work instead of waiting for studio approval. Collect & Praise itself was produced independently before Netflix acquired it. “Now, it’s a whole different story,” he said. “Now they want to purchase these shows that we’ve made and do more in the future. Now, it’s a bidding war.”
In an official statement, Druski expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. “I’ve built my platform by creating characters and comedy that resonate with people,” he said.
“This partnership with Netflix will give me the resources to build on that comedy foundation and bring my work to a new global audience. It’s a tremendous opportunity for our team at 4Lifers Entertainment to expand our reach, develop original programming for the masses and take our creativity to new heights.”
Druski, Comedian
John Derderian, Netflix’s vice president overseeing Next Gen Content, praised the comedian’s talent. “Druski has a gift for building characters that people can’t stop talking about,” Derderian said.
“We want the best talent in the world to bring us their most ambitious work, reach new audiences and build their brands. Collect & Praise is just the beginning, and we welcome Druski to Netflix.”

The deal arrives at a high point in Druski’s career. He is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live on November 7, 2026, becoming one of the few internet-born comedians to take the iconic stage in recent years. He has also been named Rolling Stone’s No. 1 Most Influential Creator of 2026. Beyond digital content, Druski has appeared in films and music videos, steadily expanding his presence across entertainment platforms.
Collect & Praise
Collect & Praise continues Druski’s signature style of blending exaggerated characters with pointed social observation. The original sketch drew both laughter and criticism for its portrayal of wealth-focused megachurch culture. By adapting it into a full series with Mike Epps, known for his work in comedy films and stand-up, the project aims to reach a broader audience while retaining the irreverent energy that made the character a viral hit.
Industry observers see the partnership as part of Netflix’s ongoing strategy to attract digital-native creators who already command large online followings. Similar deals have been struck with other YouTube and social media stars, reflecting the streamer’s interest in bridging independent digital content with traditional television production.

For Druski, the agreement represents validation of years spent building an audience outside the conventional studio system. By retaining creative control through 4Lifers Entertainment and securing both original commissions and catalog licensing, he has structured a deal that rewards the ownership model he pursued from the start.
As Collect & Praise prepares for its December premiere, the comedian appears poised to translate his internet success into a lasting presence on one of the world’s largest streaming platforms.
