Ghanaian actress and media personality, Cynthia Tima Yeboah, popularly known as Tima Kumkum, recently revealed that she sometimes feel the need to have a man in her life to give her comfort, after being single for three years.

This follows few years after divorcing her husband, whom she was married to for five years. Tima now says she is not happy, and that she needs a man in her life.

According to the actress, she is single and worships God, but she is not a happy woman, and her life is not complete without a man. She disclosed this in an interview on ‘The Delay Show’.

“I am not happy because I need a man in my life despite being single and worshipping God, I sometimes feel I need a man who will comfort me when I’m in distress”.

She posited that she sometimes needs a man to talk to when she faces some challenges at her workplace, but she has no one to talk to.

“Sometimes when someone offends me at work, I feel I should pick a phone and call a man but when I pick the phone, who do I call?”

She disclosed that she married right after university, but added that she was young and naive at the time she agreed to settle with her ex-husband whose name she only mentioned as Kwadwo.

According to the mother of two, she was a good wife to her former husband. Tima explained that she did her duties as a married wife, and never let her husband lack when they were together.

The voice-over artiste added that she never cheated on her husband during their five-year marriage and vowed never to do that in her life.

Though she admitted that she was not perfect when she was with her ex-husband, she said she wasn’t the cause of their divorce. Detailing what ended their marriage, the actress cum TV host revealed that

“We had a problem, but we could never solve it so I asked for a divorce and he complied. I told him I can’t stay with him any longer and he agreed”.

When questioned if she had regretted walking out of the five-year-old marriage, she quickly answered in the negative. She went on to assert that it was the best thing that has happened to her and further thanked God for being out of the marriage.

“Never in my life have I regretted divorcing him. It is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I thank God I was out of that marriage”.

It can be recalled that in February 2019, Tima KumKum in a post on Instagram, vowed not to sleep with any man again until the said man marries her.

According to her, it got to a point in her life where she was torn between accepting a man’s proposal to survive, or whether to keep her covenant to God not to ‘open her legs’ for any man until marriage.

She revealed that she did not regret turning down the proposal since from the very day she turned down the proposal, she has miraculously been surprised with one gift or the other.
