The pop superstar, Lady Gaga has confirmed the release window for her seventh, unnamed studio album ‘LG7’ and explained her ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ concept album ‘Harlequin’.
Not only is she appearing as iconic Batman villain Harley Quinn (formally known as psychiatrist Dr. Harleen Quinzel) in the Joker sequel ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, due to be released on October 2, but she’s also announced the briefly mysterious LG6.5.
But ‘LG6.5’, the album in between ‘Chromatica’ and Gaga’s seventh studio offering was only ‘briefly’ mysterious, because no sooner had Gaga started teasing the project than it was announced: a full companion album for the Joker sequel named Harlequin.
Lady Gaga expressed herself by speaking in a clip posted to X.
“I’m so happy to finally announce my album Harlequin which is … a companion album for the film. It has so much of the music that’s in Joker, as well as some original pieces that I wrote for the film and one that’s for the album only, which is called ‘Happy Mistake’.”

Lady Gaga also went on to confirm the release window of LG7, her next full-length studio album, following 2020’s ‘Chromatica’.
“My studio album is coming out in February and my first single’s coming out really soon, so I’m excited about that too,” Lady Gaga said.
It has previously been confirmed that she recorded more than 20 songs for the Joker sequel, which again stars Joaquin Phoenix in the titular role of the follow-up to the 2019 smash (via World of Reel).
Initial reviews have not been too kind, with some accusing the Todd Phillips-directed flick of “criminally wasting” Gaga’s acting talents. ‘Harlequin’ is set to be released tomorrow (27 September).
Lady Gaga Channels Harley Quinn With Three Iconic Looks in One Night

The pop superstar continued to channel her iconic character following the London premiere of her latest movie, ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’.
After rocking the Joker: Folie à Deux red carpet in London, Lady Gaga continued to channel Harley Quinn as she stepped out in the English capital in a series of quirky outfits.
Following the film’s premiere, Lady Gaga, 38, was seen leaving the NoMad Hotel after attending the movie’s afterparty and arriving at a fan event in two separate chaotic ensembles.
Joined by her fiancé, Michael Polansky, the pop superstar’s first look saw her sporting a striped navy blue and cream mini dress with puffed sleeves. She teamed the look with Harley Quinn-esque tights featuring a diamond print and chunky platform heels.
Her makeup from the premiere, a nod to her character’s iconic look consisting of turquoise eyeshadow, winged liner, and a teardrop made of crystals under one eye remained, though she swapped her black bob with red highlights and short bangs for a long red pixie cut.
For her third outfit of the evening, Gaga added a splash of color in a frilled sleeveless bodysuit featuring a diamond pattern consisting of various faces. Underneath she wore ripped red tights to match her locks, along with a pair of frilled stockings that coordinated with her bodysuit.

She accessorized the ensemble with black sunglasses and a pair of sky-high sparkling silver platform heels with buckles up the front.
The Oscar winner held hands with Polanksy, whom she confirmed her engagement to at the 2024 Paris Olympics, as they departed the afterparty.
Earlier in the evening, Gaga posed for photos with Polanksy and her costar, Joaquin Phoenix, at the London premiere. For the glam date night, the actress wore a dramatic red gown by Celine by Hedi Slimane, while Polansky sported a classic black suit by the brand.
She teamed the floor-length dress with a cropped long-sleeve jacket with voluminous puffy sleeves and a bright red lip.
