Founder of Alabaster International Ministries, Prophet Kofi Oduro has strongly criticized prophets who predicted inaccurate prophecies regarding the 2024 general elections, particularly those who prophesied a victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to him, these prophets should now direct the same energy they used to make false prophecies into their core duties as men of God.
Labeling them “stomach prophets”, the founder of Alabaster International Ministries lambasted the individuals whose predictions backfired, calling their prophecies “misguided” and “false”.
“As for you these prophets, If you don’t like, don’t pay attention to your calling and be parading around with stupid prophecies that have been backfiring. Now that the prophecies have backfired, use that energy and boldness to come back and talk nonsense, and let me see.”

He further chastised them, saying, “All you care about is your stomach. Greedy prophets. At the right time, I will find time to address the issue,” he added, expressing his displeasure with the way some prophets prioritize selfish interests over spiritual truth.
On the defeat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Prophet Oduro, a staunch critic of the party, stated that he had repeatedly warned them to change their ways, listen to God’s guidance, and heed the cries of the people of Ghana.
However, he claimed the NPP ignored these warnings.
During the lead-up to the December 7 elections, several prophets predicted a win for Dr. Bawumia. These prophecies, however, were not fulfilled, thereby igniting widespread debate on social media.
The credibility of these prophets has also been subjected to scrutiny. On the other hand, prophecies predicting the victory of former President John Dramani Mahama appear to have come to pass.
Kofi Oduro on NPP’s Defeat
Prophet Kofi Oduro, an ardent critic of the Akufo-Addo administration, reacted to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in the 2024 elections.
In a recent church sermon, the founder of Alabaster International Ministries stated that the party’s defeat is God’s doing, allowing the NPP to regret ignoring his voice and the incessant cries of citizens during their tenure.
According to Prophet Oduro, the NPP regarded anyone who criticized their government or attempted to challenge them as enemies.
“For almost eight years, this voice has been speaking, and you thought we were against you. I look at constituencies that have never been held by the NDC, but for the first time, they’ve been occupied by the NDC. This is God’s work.”

He noted that the NPP will now realize that people who criticized their bad leadership were not their enemies but had their best interests at heart.
“When I was here trying to correct people, they thought I was the enemy. But now that you are in opposition, weeping in your homes, you will know I wasn’t the enemy. I had your best interest at heart.”

Prophet Kofi Oduro also urged the NPP to reflect on their actions and learn from their mistakes, stating that this is another chance from God for the party to right its wrongs.
“Sit down and reflect. What went wrong? Ask yourself: Was I too proud? Too arrogant? Too complacent? Too laid-back? Too pompous? God is giving you another chance.
“If God is reprimanding and rebuking you, take it in good faith. Those he loves, he rebukes. I’ve seen prominent MPs who have lost their seats. God is speaking.”

Addressing John Dramani Mahama’s victory in the elections, the prophet responded to critics who questioned his landslide win. “So politically, people say he didn’t deserve that opportunity,” Oduro said.
“I hear people analyzing and claiming he didn’t deserve the victory, but it’s God who decides.”
