Controversial televangelist Patricia Asiedu, popularly known as Agradaa or Evangelist Mama Pat, has given her account of the events that transpired during the first court hearing of Empress Gifty’s defamation lawsuit against her.
In a TikTok live session, the Heaven Way church founder called out Empress Gifty’s lawyer, Sam Kyere of Osei Aidooh Akpokavie and Co. chambers, over his alleged conduct during the court appearance.
Agradaa shared that her lawyer was late for the hearing due to the actions of the gospel musician’s lawyer.
According to her, the lawyer allegedly failed to respond to her legal counsel, even though he was mandated to serve a writ a week or days before they met at the Tema High Court.
“That self-acclaimed lawyer was supposed to serve my lawyer seven days before our first court hearing, but he didn’t. When we arrived at court, the judge asked where my lawyer was, and after explaining that she was on her way, I was asked to go call her. The judge then questioned Empress Gifty’s lawyer about whether my lawyers had responded to him, and he confirmed that they had.
“However, when asked if he had responded to us, he admitted that the documents were still with the bailiff. He said he had only handed them over the previous day. We all know that serving a lawyer on very short notice isn’t proper. You didn’t serve us, but while granting interviews, you refused to admit that it was your fault.”

She noted that she informed the judge that her lawyer was going to be late for court and got permission to call him outside the premises for ten minutes to inquire about his whereabouts.
The controversial televangelist questioned why Empress Gifty’s lawyer failed to serve a letter to her legal team before they appeared before the Tema High Court.
Agradaa accused Sam Kyere of Osei Aidooh Akpokavie and Co. chambers of failing to take responsibility for his alleged error while addressing the media after the court hearing, and said that her legal team had the right to inform the judge that they needed time to take a look at Empress Gifty’s lawyer’s letter.
Agradaa’s remarks about the Empress’s lawyer stirred reactions.

Agradaa Registers Empress Gifty’s ‘Noko Fine’ as a Pet Shop

The founder of the Heaven Way Church registered Empress Gifty’s beloved nickname ‘Noko Fine’ as a business venture amid their ongoing feud.
In a video, the controversial televangelist, formerly a traditional worship priestess, showcased a business certificate reportedly obtained from the Registrar General’s Department.
Agradaa continued to taunt Empress Gifty. The business name on the certificate was NokoFine Petshop.
“The Noko is for me. It has been registered by the Registrar General. I’m waiting for the right time to damage you with it.”

The video emerged online after the televangelist’s first day at the Tema High Court for the hearing in the defamation case against her by Empress Gifty.
Agradaa, in her tantrums, jabbed Empress Gifty’s husband, Hopeson Adorye, tagging him as a candidate for her pet shop.
