Stonebwoy, has noted that he welcomes the idea of a collaboration with acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale, since he is one of the A-list artists in Ghana he hasn't yet collaborated with.

CEO of the Burniton Music Group, Stonebwoy.

Ghanaian dancehall musician, Stonebwoy has applauded the government for ensuring that the street lights along the Tema Motorway are functioning.

In a series of tweets, the international artist recalled how he was a victim of a robbery because there was no light on the Tema Motorway stretch. He further mentioned that he is impressed with how there are police patrols around, especially at certain hotspots where robbery is rampant. Also, he stated that advancing the country is what the authorities can do to make the citizens happy.  He wrote:

“Driving from Ashaiman on the motorway, the street lights were on all up to after the toll;booth, almost getting to the Accra mall; only some small part remains. In fact, it’s been a long time I have seen those lights on! Give Thanks. This is what we like”.

“It used to be like that on the Ashaiman/Tema motorway and the robbery was on to which I fell victim some years back. Hmm, on a personal level I’ve decided to big them up for the number of good deeds out of the of ‘yawa’. Maybe it will inspire them to do more”.

Also, in another post he wrote: “…Another thing I spotted is the police patrol Truck laying ambush for that particular corner where the action [robbery] often happens on that stretch of the motorway. #itBeSoWeLike Give Thanks”.

That notwithstanding, when asked by a fan if he will;applaud the government for its work so far on the current unstable electricity;system, he responded noting that it’s sad that the power outages;are still prevailing, as even he has been experiencing it. However, he was quick to mention that he is always saved by his Generator.

Reactions to Stonebwoy’s posts

Some fans and social media users who sighted his post couldn’t agree less with him. Some requested that he should record a song to praise the President since, in their [tweeps] opinion, he is doing exceptionally well. Meanwhile, others prayed that the criminals who have been operating on the motorway don’t go and destroy the lights. Others also complained bitterly about some other roads which need to be attended to. Some reactions to Stonebwoy’s posts read:

These posts come just a few days after Stonebwoy complained bitterly about the poor condition of the roads in Asamankese. In a video that was making rounds on social media, he was seen traveling in the company of some of his crew to Asamankese. He lamented about how the condition of the road even made a suitcase from one of the cars that plied the road fell from the booth of the car.

Stonebwoy, therefore, called on the Member of Parliament representing the Asamankese constituency to attend to the poor conditions of the road and fix it immediately.
