Sarkodie comes next on the list, with 1.04 million views. He is currently trending with his ‘No Pressure’ album and two music videos off the album;and, this could be the reason why he has such numbers.

Kumerican star, Yaw Tog, and reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ‘Artiste of the Year’, Diana Hamilton appeared on the list with 439,000 views and 434,000views, respectively.

Four Nigerian artists: Omah Lay, Wizkid, Guchi, and Mercy Chinwo, also popped up on the list.

This is a great win for Black Sherif, considering that his latest song has a ripple effect;on his old songs, and his current influence may have an impact on his next project.

Black Sherif expected to release more ‘Sermons’

According to him, he has another episode of his ‘Sermons’, and it will soon be released.

Well, Black Sherif took the music scene in Ghana by storm after he dropped his ‘First Sermon’.

Black Sherif’s originality brought him success

In a recent interview, Black Sherif, who has gained a lot of traction for his works and especially for his unique presentation style said he is enjoying success because of his originality. More so

For the artiste, his works are being celebrated because he stayed true to his craft and did not imitate the works of senior artists. He added that being original and not copying any artist has really paid off.

“Not many up-and-coming musicians get the huge support at the beginning of their careers but the support I am getting now is overwhelming.

“The reactions to my songs on YouTube and the positive comments I read online show that I am doing something great. Since I dropped ‘Money’ and ‘Destiny’ last year, the support has been massive till today and that has been encouraging”.

Meanwhile, Black Sherif made fruitless attempts to announce himself for more than five years until luck smiled on him last year and he is ready to go ‘the long haul’.

“I want to stay around for a very long time and that will all depend on the songs I drop. I have a solid team behind me who make sure what I put out is the best and all the positive reviews I’ve had so far are very encouraging”.

It is worth noting that the rapper, who has other songs such as ‘Ade Akye’ and ‘Ankonam’ was nominated in the Best Male Vocalist Artiste of the Year, Hip Hop Song of the Year, Popular Song of the Year, and Hip Hop Artiste of the Year categories at the 2020 Ashanti Region Music Awards.
