Hollard Receives Three Awards from CIMG

Hollard Ghana, a renowned insurance firm has received three awards at the 2020 National Marketing Performing Awards organized by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) Awards in Accra.

The CIMG awards held under the theme ‘Marketing in a Disruptive Era,’ seeks to recognize and honour businesses which have thrived and upheld excellence over the last year and even up to this year, despite the coronavirus pandemic that hit the shores of Ghana early this year.

In a statement from CIMG, these awards are in recognition of Hollard Ghana’s excellence in strategic marketing in Market Insights, People Management, Corporate Reputation Management, CSR and Sound Marketing Management that set Hollard Ghana apart as a corporate achiever for the year 2019.

Giving more insights into the three awards picked up by Hollard Ghana, the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Patience Akyianu, was adjudged the ‘Marketing Woman of the Year 2019’ for her excellent leadership which challenged Hollard Ghana to introduce groundbreaking innovative products such as Hollard ChatInsure product and its popular virtual insurer, Araba Hollard.

Also, a subsidiary of the Group, Hollard Insurance was awarded ‘Insurance Company of the Year 2019’ under the Non-Life Insurance Category for introducing matchless innovations and contributing massively to the insurance industry.

Hollard Ghana was finally crowned with the ‘Product of the Year (Service) awards’ in respect of its state-of-the-art product offerings namely the ‘Hollard ChatInsure’ and its Chatbot ‘Araba Hollard’, the first virtual insurer in the country providing end-to-end insurance services.

Upon receiving the awards, the Group CEO of Hollard Ghana, Patience Akyianu acknowledged the importance of the awards and in expressing her gratitude added that “indeed, we have come this far by Grace and I would like to thank God for helping us to achieve this great milestone”.

Patience Akyianu further lauded the efforts of her team intimating that “this win is dedicated to our visionary leadership of Hollard Insurance and Hollard Life Assurance headed by Daniel Boi Addo and Nashiru Iddrisu respectively, as well as the team at the group office, especially Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, our creative and hard-working Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs.
