Entertainer cum politician, Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A Plus, has disclosed that God has revealed to him that he will be President of Ghana in 2032.
A Plus stated that he is confident of his ambition just as he was with his victory in the 2024 elections which has made him the Member of Parliament-elect for Gomoa Central in the Central region.
According to him, the revelation came about four years ago when he became convinced that the encounter he had with God was so certain that he knew he would be in Ghana’s 9th Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
“In 2020, I held a rally at Asylum Down and there was one guy standing beside me wearing ‘Kwame 2024 T-Shirt’. I knew that in 2024 I would be an MP. I knew. I keep telling people I have met God. I know that in 2032, I will be President of Ghana. I know and you people have to tag along.”

A Plus, as he is affectionately known in the showbiz fraternity, was speaking about his relationship with President Akufo-Addo when he made the comments.
A Plus Describes President

A Plus described President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as “an opportunist” and a “self-centered person”.
He stated that the President only keeps in touch with people and shows concern when he needs a favor to his advantage.
A Plus was asked if President Akufo-Addo had called him on his election victory, considering how the musician supported his (Akufo-Addo) campaign and worked with him to become President.
But in his response, the vociferous entertainer cum politician disclosed that the President fell out with him in 2018 when he complained about the misdeeds of some of his appointees, and has never spoken to him since.
“He has never called me. The last time he spoke to me,…Akufo-Addo is an opportunist and a self-centred person and you can quote me for that. I worked so hard for Akufo-Addo and I liked Akufo-Addo so much. I did everything that I can.
“We defended him so that he could become President. When some of his appointees were misconducting themselves and we complained about it, then he fell out with some of us.”

However, he relayed that it was Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, outgoing MP for Assin Central and 2024 NPP flag bearer aspirant, who initiated a phone call between him and the President two weeks to the 2020 elections.
“Akufo-Addo never spoke to me since 2018 until two weeks to the 2020 elections when he was not sure whether he was going to win or not. Before that, Ken Agyapong had told me on countless occasions that Akufo-Addo wanted to speak to me and I said to Ken Agyapong that, Akufo-Addo, he can be President of the world but he can never get through my phone.
“I’ll never…so, it was on Ken Agyapong’s phone that I spoke to Akufo-Addo. It was Ken Agyapong who called and said ‘Hey, don’t disappoint me please, President is here, take and speak to him’.”

He said President Akufo-Addo asked for his support and has never spoken to him again since, making him describe the President as an opportunist and a self-centered person.
“So, Akufo-Addo has never called me, I was not expecting his call. Akufo-Addo only called me two weeks to the election because he wanted support. Because he was scared and after that, he has never called me but I’ve never shared it here. I know what God has planned for me.”
