Controversial Ghanaian socialite Afia Schwarzenegger has admonished the late Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah’s wife, Apostle Lilian Kumah, to focus on mourning her husband and avoid speaking publicly.
She explained that a widow should not speak to the media or address issues before her husband’s burial.
The socialite advised John Kumah’s wife to abstain from heeding Politicians’ instructions to publicly speak because she would end up making needless comments that could lead her into controversy.
“The woman [John Kumah’s] wife is a pastor, and I know she is not going to do politics, but she should keep quiet. If you follow Politicians you will end up making unnecessary remarks. How can you say Kumah who was 45-year-old is better than others?” Afia Schwarzenegger quizzed.
“Did she think about it? Let God guide your utterances as a Pastor, and don’t speak anyhow. From what you said in the interview, the Holy Spirit had departed from you. Stop granting interviews and mourn your husband,” she said while speaking in a TikTok live session.
Lilian Kumah granted an interview at the Accra-based Asaase Radio, where she responded to criticisms surrounding her husband’s death.
Lilian Kumah revealed that the Founder and Leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Nigel Gaisie’s prophecy about her husband’s death was not genuine because he had been informed about the situation earlier.
She mentioned that the Prophet is fake, a womanizer, and a liar.
In other news, Ghanaian media personality, Mona Gucci fired shots at Nigel Gaisie over prophesying about the death of John Kumah.
Nigel Gaisie broke his silence over the wild allegations leveled against him by the wife of the late John Kumah.
The woman of God claimed that Nigel Gaisie was a close friend of their family. She mentioned how he was on the payroll of John Kumah and how he frequented his house.
Reacting to the allegations, Nigel Gaisie stated emphatically that the late John Kumah and his wife were not his friends.
He denied the accusations of being a chronic womanizer and even dared Lilian to come out with her evidence.
In a long post on her IG page, Mona Gucci reacted by calling out Prophet Nigel for being a liar and a fake prophet.
Maurice Ampaw Proposes Lilian Kumah For Ejisu’s NPP Parliamentary Seat
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw called upon the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to allow Lilian Kumah, the widow of the late Member of Parliament for Ejisu, John Kumah, to contest her husband’s seat in the Ashanti Region.
Ampaw emphasized the importance of honoring John Kumah’s legacy by facilitating a transition for his spouse into politics.
He drew parallels with previous instances within the party where widows were supported in their bid for parliamentary seats following the demise of their husbands.
He cited the example of Ophelia Hayford, who stepped into her husband’s shoes in Mfantseman.
Ampaw stressed that replicating this gesture for Lilian Kumah would not only pay homage to her husband’s memory but also demonstrate the party’s commitment to supporting the family.
He urged the NPP leadership to consider allowing Lilian Kumah to contest the Ejisu Constituency unopposed, asserting that such a move would respect John Kumah’s legacy and put his soul to rest.
“It is time for us to come together; let us honor John Kumah. He stood for breaking the eight; John Kumah stood for breaking the eight. John Kumah was NPP, and NPP was John Kumah; let us honor him. I propose that nobody should go and contest the Ejisu Constituency; nobody should go and contest John Kumah’s spirit. Let us train John Kumah’s wife to take over as the sole parliamentary candidate,” he noted.
“The same way we did for Mfantsiman Constituency; when Quansah died, his widow, Ophelia Hayford, a police officer, took over. John Kumah’s wife is a pastor, and she is very bold. John Kumah’s spirit has entered her, so let John Kumah’s wife go unopposed and win the seat,” Maurice Ampaw said.
