Ghana’s dance duo, Afronitaaa, and Abigail, delivered an electrifying performance during the semi-finals of the 2024 edition of Britain’s Got Talent.

Stunning both the audience and judges with their electrifying semi-final performance, the duo delivered a performance that left everyone in awe.

Their medley of popular hits, including Fuse ODG’s “Azonto,” Beyoncé’s “Run The World,” and Toofan’s “Gweta,” matched with their energetic dance moves as they showcased their versatility and cultural pride.

Afronitaaa and Abigail graced the stage dressed in stunning locally made red attire adorned with the colors of the Ghanaian national flag.

Their energy and skill were evident as they executed their routine flawlessly.

The audience was thoroughly entertained, and their enthusiastic response accentuated the impact of Afronitaaa and Abigail’s performance.

Afronitaaa and Abigail’s memorable performance has set a high standard for other contestants as the competition progresses. Their success in the finals demonstrates their potential to excel in the grand finale.

Simon Cowell, one of the show’s judges, was visibly impressed by the duo’s performance.

“What is happening behind me is more important than what I say. When you got it, you got it. I got a feeling last night about who’s gonna win this show this year.”

Dancers’ Reaction Amid Victory

After being crowned the best-performing duo on Britain’s Got Talent, dancer Afronitaaa finally found her voice.

She shared that this victory is a testament to her and her young partner, Abigail Dromo’s longstanding dream of gracing that grand stage.

Struggling to articulate her emotions, Afronitaaa expressed her gratitude.

“I feel blessed. Honestly, this is a big testimony for me, for Abigail, for Ghana, and for everyone who supports us. We are so grateful. Honestly, it’s been so emotional and I don’t know what to say. Thank you to God and everyone who voted for us.”

Their journey to the finale was marked by triumph, as they clinched the public vote during the fourth semi-final night.

Now, they’re poised to face off against 10 other contestants in the upcoming finale on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, across the globe, Ghanaians flooded social media with celebrations, hailing Afronitaaa and 7-year-old Abigail’s achievements.

A groundswell of public support is propelling these two young talents forward.

Afrobeats superstar Fuse ODG was one of the many Ghanaians cheering Afronitaaa and Abigail during their semi-final performance.

After the show, Fuse ODG hailed the Ghanaian dance duo online.

“The culture has come so far from zero or negative representation to the whole country seeing Africa in a celebratory manner. This is what we worked for! This Is truly New Africa.”

Ghanaian dance collective DWP Academy also shared its excitement for its former member, Afronitaaa’s latest milestone.

The DWP Academy stated it was proud of Afronitaaa despite her dramatic exit from the collective.

Afronitaaa’s former colleagues also joined in the celebration. Endurance Grand, Lisa Quama, and Championrolie have all shared positive remarks about Afronitaaa and Abigail’s performance.

Endurance Grand shared on her Instagram story, “Big win, bigger one coming.”

Lisa Quama and Championrolie, who had rallied fans to vote for Afronitaaa and Abigail, couldn’t hide their excitement as they thanked God for facilitating the duo’s progression to the BGT finals.
