Ghanaian rapper, Amerado has expressed regret for employing insults in his diss tracks.
He acknowledges that certain language used in his released songs was unnecessary.
“I don’t regret the whole banter in my music but I regret some of the words used in the song. Some of the insults in the rap songs were over the bar.”
Amerado
He also highlighted occasions where many musicians feel compelled to create such tracks.
“In the heat of the moment, I believe we don’t have enough time to reason through the lyrics before it is released. This is because people are on the wait for the back-to-back songs.”
Amerado
He also mentioned a few advantages the songs brought.
“Whatever happened occurred for my good and that of my opponent,” he added.
Amerado fired shots at a rude fan who told him to change the kind of women he picks for his music videos.
According to the fan, Amerado’s music is too classy for him to feature ugly girls.
The fan known as Kojo-De Kushite further advised Amerado to project Ghana in a beautiful light to the world by choosing attractive ladies for his music videos.
This didn’t sit well with Amerado. Amerado lambasted the fan for disrespecting women.
He questioned him how he would feel if the same uncouth words were said about his sister.
Amerado Shares Incident At a Cemetary

2023 VGMA Best Rapper of the Year, Amerado, shared how he resorted to using a love spell to gain the affection of a former lover.
According to the rapper, the incident, which happened sometime back during his days in Kumasi, saw him performing some rituals at a cemetery around 2 am.
“It was 2 at dawn; I went to the cemetery and sprinkled powder while saying my wishes. That was all. I was alone, I am for real; I am not lying.”

Asked if he had no fears engaging in such an act at such an ungodly hour, the rapper stated that he was inspired by love and did not see how he could be stopped.
“Yes, because I was in love. Andy, 2 am is nothing; have you not fallen before? If I was asked to walk to Accra, I would have done it.”
Amerado
He maintained that the spell indeed had its desired effect, adding that he was no longer with the lady in question.
“After I had mentioned her name and did the ‘for girls, I called her the next day and she was all loving. She agreed for me to pick her up, which I did. But when we were in the car, I accidentally snatched her phone and it fell and the screen got shattered. Right there and then, she got upset and asked what she was doing in my company and that was it, the ‘for girls’ did not work again.”

However, Amerado’s story didn’t sit down well with the panel members who questioned the authenticity of the story.“I know this is live, but I swear down, I’m not lying,” he said.
He revealed that, though he did not end up in a relationship with his crush as expected, they remain very good friends.
Currently, he is in a relationship with a woman whose identity he chooses to keep private.
Following the release of two back-to-back hit songs, ‘Kwaku Ananse’ and ‘Abronoma,’ the rapper has recently dropped another song titled ‘Tin Ton Tan,’ which is also gaining airplay just weeks after its release.
