Ghanaian musician and social media personality, Archipalago, has declared himself a prophet after correctly predicting King Promise’s victory as Artiste of the Year at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).
The controversial entertainer claimed, citing his accurate forecast of Kumasi-based rapper Kweku Smoke’s rise to fame as further proof of his prophetic abilities.
“I’m a prophet because I see things and I have intuition. So whenever I say something, it comes to pass—that’s why I was telling them about Kweku Smoke. I told him he’s going to blow, and he’s blown, and his [success] is outstanding,”

The viral sensation also revealed his unorthodox entry into the awards ceremony, explaining that he attended without a ticket but was granted access through actor and Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, John Dumelo. “Despite not having a ticket upon arrival, I was optimistic and foresaw that my team and I would enter the auditorium,” he said, though he clarified that his eventual appearance on stage was unplanned.
Archipalago’s self-proclaimed prophetic status adds another layer to his growing reputation as one of Ghana’s most unpredictable online personalities.
“When I got there, I knew I would be permitted to enter because I’m Archipalago. But when I got there, it wasn’t like that. So I told my homeboy I went with that he should wait for me to get a ticket and enter the auditorium and see what will happen. That was even a prophecy I told my boy.”

He also claimed he had foreseen the outcome of the event, stating that he knew King Promise would win Artiste of the Year.
According to him, he has a strong intuition and often sees things before they happen. He sparked laughter when he rushed to grab an award Kweku Smoke won on his behalf.
Moreover, the social media personality declared himself the pioneer of video blogging in Ghana, claiming that he was the first to address national issues through video content before others followed suit.
However, it was reported that at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs), several celebrities faced criticism for their red carpet fashion choices.
Archipalago appeared in a white sleeveless sweatshirt and white denim jeans, accessorised with a necklace, earrings, and black sunglasses, which many deemed inappropriate for the event.
King Paluta also wore a stylish top, jacket, and matching trousers, but his overall look, including a new hairstyle and jewellery, received mixed reactions.
Archipalago Discloses Prestigious Position in a US Hospital

The Ghanaian musician and social media personality disclosed that he works as a certified Sterile Processing Technician at a hospital in the United States.
He disclosed during an interview, but his attempt to explain the position ended in a comical moment.
While trying to pronounce the job title and describe the duties involved, Archipalago struggled with his words, leaving many netizens laughing as the video quickly went viral online.
Despite the blunder, some social media users praised him for holding such an important role in the healthcare system.
A Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning and sterilising medical tools used in surgeries and other hospital procedures. The role is critical in preventing infections and ensuring patient and staff safety.
Achipalago’s interview stirred laughter from netizens.
“Certified health care professional can’t pronounce ‘sterilised’ which is his whole job. Moving on.”
